I waited about 2 weeks and decided to go with the alpha 15nm. Iv been drifting and racing with this wheel since then and iv really liked it alot. I decided to upgrade from Alpha Mini to Alpha U, now that I understand some things better. This video popped up in my feed today so now I'm even more excited about my Alpha U getting delivered today. I tried your Simagic iRacing settings this weekend and found them to be extremely good for my Alpha 15nm. I had been running a few settings the same as yours, but the main differences were your 100% Mech. Inertia and 5 FB Frequency (I had 0% and 9 respectively). I instantly felt more overall control and traction feedback with your settings compared to my prior ones. That worked great for open wheel, GT and even oval stock car. I matched your swap to 20% Wheel Speed for my rallycross testing and it also felt amazing. Thanks so much for the settings recommendations!

I know some will say settings are subjective but I'd argue if I get into a car, and another follows me, we're not going to feel different things. It's the same car. So it's nice to start somewhere. Can't wait to try this😊 Edit, Alpha U user here and thank you so much. these settings are nearly perfect imo. After 2 laps at Nordschleife with a gt3 car, I moved the force feed back to 70% rather than 60% and I think i need to tweak the "mechanical friction" setting a bit. the wheel is far to easy to turn at low speeds and or stopped. Being an automotive technician with 23yrs experience, I drive 1000s of cars a year, i can confidently say, no cars turn with such little effort. I think I will take your 20% max suggestion and go from there. The only time i felt this in a real car is with the car on the hoist so the wheels are not touching the ground. My personal car has a 285mm tire up front, and you're certainly not spinning the wheel with your pinky finger. but that's why there's settings. I would not have gotten even close to this satisfied without your settings so understand I am nothing but grateful. thank you so much.
Absolutely agree with you man🤛 I use to drive rally cars and when slicks get warm, things become quite heavy even with the steering help and sometimes even boil the liquid 😃 The settings I use in sim are absolutely optimized for my personal like just to feel enough and not fight with the feedback and tension my muscles too much. They are not realistic for sure in comparison to the real thing but bring the FFB to live with more pronounced effects. Definitely good starting point and I’m happy you tweaked it to your like and was helpful 💪 Have a great evening 🍻
@chepilevski yes I think, for me, 20 to 30% on the mechanical Friction makes it perfect. It almost doesn't matter 90% of the time. Just when it's real slow or stopped, which to be fair, is almost never. But that's where you feel it the most. Thanks again
Great video, these settings definitely improved the feel of my Alpha for me for GT racing. Would it be possible to post your in-game FFB settings as well for AC / ACC ?
One of the best videos on settings out there. Thank you! QQ - for drifting you mentioned that your preferred wheel rotation speed is around 20%. Why is it so? I saw multiple videos from other RUclipsrs who claim to be also drifters in real life that 100% wheel rotation speed is super important for drifting… just wanted to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you again !
To be honest, I don’t drift much and in my driving style I don’t like to let the wheel rotate on itself as drifters do and 100% becomes too fast for rally driving! 100% will definitely be the way if you want to let the wheel go full rotation from side to side! I slide the cars with small steering wheel inputs and mostly from weight transfer and power control.
ah finally someone with the same Moza settings, you dont need most of those settings its all post processing. All i use is wheel speed. So basically the same.
Just received my Cammus C5 and applied your settings and they seem really good. Will try tweaking them but will probably end up back at yours anyway :) Oh and the Cammus C5 is awesome - I absolutely love the tiny and SILENT paddle shifters !!
Hi mate my Alpha 15nm is arriving this week , my main sim is ACC and i would really like to know what your ingame ffb settings are you showed us only Iracing unfortunately, plz help 👍 cheers
Another great video! I've been using your setting recommendations as the baseline for fine tuning my Moza & couldn't be happier with the results. As software calibration is as important as the hardware it runs, with the massive improvements to Simagic's software, how would you rate their Alpha & Alpha U bases relative to SC Sport & Pro bases respectively? Is there a marked difference in the fidelity & quality of the feedback? I'm thinking of upgrading my R9😉
Thanks man🤛 In my opinion they are all very close to each other and each one have bit of its own character! Moza are bit more rapid over the curbs creating higher spikes like the SC2 and the Simagic are just bit more clam in that regard but as you’ve said, it is mostly about setting it for our own preferences! it looks like most of the people I know those days go in the Simagic system and all of them are super happy which is very good sign! I guess Simagic brings the best quality to price ratio on the market 🤛
I try to create bit more spikes hitting the curbs which I personally like and feels like it helps a bit 🤛 Not many people like those rapid movements but I personally prefer those Rob
@@chepilevski yesh I want to feel the curb spikes also. I love love road textures and curb feels. I don't like a dull wheel by any means. I want it sharp but also refined and smooth.
@@chepilevski yeah! As of yesterday’s update. Feels good so far but dealing with some notchiness and been looking around for some people’s settings to try
@@chepilevski oh also! I know you said you don’t like the friction setting but I found 7% removes all oscillations for me on my mini with wrs at 100, just in case that’s helpful at all!
Thank you soo much for those settings. The wheel feels soo alive with them. My question is about the clipping. when i go above the auto box, it starts clipping on the cerbs. Is that okay and the goal is to get as close to the clipping on the road? Or should i never get clipping? i now driving at 14nm but on 70% FFB in Simpro
Hey man, just did my first 20 laps with your setting in iracing and im... BLOWN AWAY !!! the details are soooo nice!! only doing ff1600 F4 and SFL here... some sports cars with friends sometimes.. so if you have some changes to suggest for a formula settings, im listening haha! My Question: do you put 50% intensity in game or 100% ?
The FFB gain is different for different cars but is never 100. I just change that to my personal like and the rest is as you mentioned. Keep in mind I’m not very good on ACC and use it mostly for fun and videos 🤛
Im about to buy simagic in the next month Im convinced that i will go above the mini and buy the alpha I probably can buy the U but cant convience me. You have tried alot of bases . Would i see a perciavable difference if i go U inseat of alpha? IMO is just like the expensive suite in a hotel. Extra luxury for those who can afford it
I’m using always 12 to 15nm maximum for fun and in serious racing I put the force to 9-10nm to be relaxed and feel everything I need! You put it in the best possible way and if you never gonna use that power will be waisted. The ffb quality those days is very close between all brands and models with the correct setting in the same amount of torque!
It feels different, but seems good. I drive Ferrari GT3, so the steering is already really stiff feeling. Which I like. Its still stiff feeling. But also free feeling. It seems I am feeling more. I am going to save the setting. And give it good go, And I will report back on it. Thanks for sharing man
@@chepilevski I am usually a rF2 driver but ever since LMU I have then switched. The sim feels great, but at present they are trying to dial In the FFB as a standard. I have faith that It can only get better, but you know how some kids are.
Thanks for a great video! Can I just ask, what is your max torque setting in game on iRacing if simpro is set to 60%? I have alpha U also. Would max torque in game just be 23nm or 23nm x 60%?
@@chepilevski I instantly felt the difference and improved my lap time on Imola. The car feels alive now it’s great. At first I thought the straights were too light so I increased mechanical friction but after testing I much prefer the exact settings you suggested. Cornering is so much more engaging now! I’ve been testing various setups over the past few weeks but this is 100% the best and I could instantly see the benefits too. Thanks for sharing this great video 🙌
@@ahmedtahir4951 if you get used to that light wheel in few days which you will eventually, then it won’t bother you at all but you will gain way more feeling in the corners while loading the tires. The edge of the grip is becoming more pronounced too. That’s what I’m looking for from the feedback 😃 Really happy to know you are getting results buddy 💪😁
What should i set mt ffb to for an alpha mini? Im gonna give 60% a try and see how it feels, i just wanted to know if you had any feedback on this. Thanks for the awesome settings!!
@@chepilevski It's active in the update and it works like a dream! There is detail that wasn't there, especially since I had went to the Aplha U, which was underwhelming, but now it isn't! (Am I the only one that actually reads ALL the release notes from every season front to back )
Hey, I am currently trying to decide between Simagic Alpha and Alpha U. I am not sure if the 200 euros (I could buy a wheel for it) is worth it. Could you share your feedback?
That is absolutely subjective and depends of the cars buddy! For rally cross cars I’m at 110nm which is super light! For GT3 around 58nm and for GT4 at 40 except the McLaren which have super light wheel! I think you just need to test what feels great to you !
What should I set the wheel rotation speed to be if I am doing iracing f4 cars? You said drifting/rally 20 and gt cars 100, but not sure for open wheel cars
Hello! I might have misunderstood, but you're saying that you don't use the FFB equalizer, yet the curve in the video isn't linear. Is that the setting you're using in the video? Thanks for your precise advice and recommendations.👌
@@chepilevski this is also changes depending on the road effects percentage. if you customize the equalizer then the road effects percentage will be red(not in use) and vice versa.
No buddy For the 10-12nm bases I use 100% as that’s the power I usually run and bay nature those bases with less power are more alive then the biggest ones and give the small details more even.
Hey, i've got the Alpha Ultimate based on this video from you, were you said you only use that one now. I've used 100% FFB and 23nm Torque in software, with full details aswell and 58% Gain ingame and my base got really hot after just 30mins, is that normal or is it because of my settings?
Hi buddy When you say hot, is like too hot to touch or you can keep your hand on it? However, I never felt my base to gain more then 50 degrees from outside which is normal temperature for operation! Can you measure the temps?
@@chepilevski I will measure them today when i'm home. I can keep my hand on it for few seconds before it comes too hot to keep them on. But i play ACC, so i don't know if that could cause it aswell. Can give an update on the temps when i'm able to measure them, thanks for the quick answer, love your content.
I've always been conflicted on the 'feedback detail' on Simagic, if i go above 2 it starts to feel as all the effects begin to merge together kind of like a smoothness. It may be the placebo effect with me though haha
About limiting your base to 60% If i understand correctly when you are close to clipping you have the most amount of detail and the wheel feels alive. Is it because when you put it on very high torque its "magnifiyng" the details and they overtake the small vibrations?
@@chepilevski That makes me think that more than 15nm bases are just wasted headroom My local supplier has alpha out of stock and only the U is available and it makes wonder, Should I wait and get the alpha or take the U for 250 more with Killswitch Does having more headroom is better?
Man why do you have inertia set to 100% on the simagic bases. In your previous settings video it was set to 0%. Have simagic reversed the slider or is that a change in your personal taste?
Because I’m changing bases all the time and some have more spikes hitting curbs which I personally like I was trying to recreate that same feeling with Simagic and start pulling to some extreme values I feel like the natural inertia helps that more pronounced and rapid moves.
Thanks again for your great content. Always amazing stuff. Settings tested on my Alpha Mini. Far to light around the middle but the direction is good. FFB feels very detailed ❤
For MOZA , try out INERTIA at 500%, and having friction and damping off, and wheel speed at 60. Everything else the same! And I still get the snap, still feel the road, and doesn’t feel light and fake!
I switched from the R16 to R16 v2 and the settings felt even more alive. The new VRC Formula Alpha 24 came out this week for Assetto and wow. I’m grateful to have reduced the little bit of dampening I had because this insanely high tech F1 sim mod is a handful when cornering at speed with the downforce kicked in.
@@fiveofknives I run 100% force and 95% torque in pit house. The I adjust down in the sim/game. In Assetto which is where I spend most my time driving the VRC Formula Alpha f1 car, I run between 50-60% “gain” which is essentially FFB strength. That’s with the new formula alpha 24. But with the fa23 and other cars including gt, I am between 60-70%.
Are the Simagic settings from this video still applicable with the new firmware 194 firware that came out last week? I noticed that these settings in ACC felt a bit sharp.
@@chepilevski just received mu simagic ultimate last week. So far I have driven only ACC on it. Seen on the Discord a 195 firmware is already out and a lot of people reverted to 193, so probably something was wrong with the 194 firmware.

Brat currently there is moza beta on moza discord channel. Moza has „reinvented“ my R12 base. The hardware feels SO MUCH BETTER. If you still own moza base go to their discord, grab the code and test yourself. Try before upgrade natural inertia from 100% to 500% and compare after upgrade. Understood! I'll test your settings on my Alpha 15 and iracing, should I use auto in "100% intensity" and reduce ffb strength in software as you explained or maybe give a lil headroom like default 50%?
@@zeahroela the way I do it is turning down the power from the SimPro Manager and go up in iRacing while trying to find the strength I personally like close to clipping. I suggest to go on Sebring which is bumpy track and start testing! For example go in SimPro manager to 70% and then put in iRacing 12nm motor and over gain 30nm on the FFB.

excellent settings for moza, -2 sec in Spa . this is simply an amazing result. Thank you
I don’t know how those settings helped improve your times but I’m happy to hear you enjoy them 😃🍻
ah finally someone with the same Moza settings, you dont need most of those settings its all post processing. All i use is wheel speed. So basically the same.
yes!, thank you for the Simagic settings..quite different than what I was using, but I like them!!
what is the background music you put in your video at the beginning of the video, amazing video btw :D
Thank you so much man! I can actually feel what the car is doing now. What a difference. Any chance you can share P1000 pedal setup?
We Appreciate you bro - true gent, stay blessed 🙏
Thanks for this! It is great to see you update these setting as the new firmwares have more options
So my friend, which one would you choose for drifting?
Thanks man! I really like this video and appreciate you posting it, I’m definitely trying your settings for the simagic alpha U 👍
Hope you will like it buddy🤛
Just received my Cammus C5 and applied your settings and they seem really good. Will try tweaking them but will probably end up back at yours anyway :) Oh and the Cammus C5 is awesome - I absolutely love the tiny and SILENT paddle shifters !!
It really is great for the price and can offer really good power 💪😃
Have had the C5 now for about 6 months. Not put a foot wrong, excellent wheel for the price and these settings make it even better
Hi mate my Alpha 15nm is arriving this week , my main sim is ACC and i would really like to know what your ingame ffb settings are you showed us only Iracing unfortunately, plz help 👍 cheers
oh man cars feel so much more lively low, thanks so much :)
Happy we share the same taste buddy 🤛😃
Another great video! I've been using your setting recommendations as the baseline for fine tuning my Moza & couldn't be happier with the results.
As software calibration is as important as the hardware it runs, with the massive improvements to Simagic's software, how would you rate their Alpha & Alpha U bases relative to SC Sport & Pro bases respectively? Is there a marked difference in the fidelity & quality of the feedback? I'm thinking of upgrading my R9😉
Thanks man🤛
In my opinion they are all very close to each other and each one have bit of its own character!
Thank you for your valuable inputs. When considering the whole ecosystem, Simagic makes a whole lot of sense!
really good settings for sports car on the r9, for formula cars it feels a little light
Thank you for the great video. Noticed the mechanical inertia at 100%? Is that intentional? Just wondering since you haven't mentioned this parameter
I try to create bit more spikes hitting the curbs which I personally like and feels like it helps a bit 🤛
Not many people like those rapid movements but I personally prefer those Rob
@@chepilevski Much appreciated your answer. I'll try that :)
@@chepilevski yesh I want to feel the curb spikes also. I love love road textures and curb feels. I don't like a dull wheel by any means. I want it sharp but also refined and smooth.
Thank you so much man! You are an absolute legend!
Very interesting as usual. I already use this kind of settings.... but now that i have a R21 i have to try your 70% power trick to see the difference
Let me know when you test buddy 🤛
Any plans to update the simagic settings now that 360hz is live? Things feel pretty different for me on high ffb range cars like f4 and sfl
Did iRacing implement it?
Clipping over the curbs is perfectly fine for me as those are just momentary spikes 🤛
Thanks bro. I'm very curious about inertia at 100%, I can't wait to try it.
He has it at 50% in iRacing towards the end of the video
Awsome video!
Could you please also share your ACC in-game settings for Simagic? Do you keep it the defaults (100 gain, 50 damping and the rest 0)?
yeah im curious to learn this as well.
The FFB gain is different for different cars but is never 100. I just change that to my personal like and the rest is as you mentioned.
Keep in mind I’m not very good on ACC and use it mostly for fun and videos 🤛
This helped me thanks! Would love if you could make another settings video for WRC!
Im about to buy simagic in the next month
Im convinced that i will go above the mini and buy the alpha
I probably can buy the U but cant convience me.
Great video and feedback. Thank you
Thanks Chris 🍻
I will have to give the Simagic settings a try on my Alpha tomorrow after work
It feels different, but seems good. I drive Ferrari GT3, so the steering is already really stiff feeling. Which I like. Its still stiff feeling. But also free feeling. It seems I am feeling more. I am going to save the setting. And give it good go, And I will report back on it. Thanks for sharing man
So for in game settings on Iracing what have you turned off or moved? Think I have mine all off. Thanks for all the great videos
Hi buddy
The last minute of the video I show my iRacing settings 🤛
@@chepilevski Thanks, not sure How I missed that
Great info! Cut a few tenths off of my previous set up.
Thanks a lot, really helpful. can you also share your FFB in IRacing?
It is around 30nm for GT4 and 36-38 for GT3 cars buddy
Thank you! Will check back again when LMU Is more stable with It´s FFB, they are In a testing stage now.
I still haven’t tested that sim 🙈
I use to wait for the polished experience but don’t know if I will have the patience!
People love it 😃
@@chepilevski I am usually a rF2 driver but ever since LMU I have then switched. The sim feels great, but at present they are trying to dial In the FFB as a standard. I have faith that It can only get better, but you know how some kids are.
@@onealpha710 I a bit the team behind that sim and I’m positive they will make it🤛
Thanks for a great video! Can I just ask, what is your max torque setting in game on iRacing if simpro is set to 60%? I have alpha U also. Would max torque in game just be 23nm or 23nm x 60%?
On the last min of the video I show my iRacing settings buddy 🤛
@@chepilevski My bad! Thank you! 😄
@@ahmedtahir4951 let me know if you feel the difference particularly on Sebring which you s easy to feel that 🤛
@@chepilevski I instantly felt the difference and improved my lap time on Imola.
That’s what I’m looking for from the feedback 😃
Really happy to know you are getting results buddy 💪😁
What should i set mt ffb to for an alpha mini? Im gonna give 60% a try and see how it feels, i just wanted to know if you had any feedback on this. Thanks for the awesome settings!!
For the Mini you can stay on 100%
The overall strength effects more the powerful models!
@@chepilevski okay thank you!
360hz added to iRacing for Simagic is amazing!
Did they?
I haven’t tested it yet
@@chepilevski It's active in the update and it works like a dream! There is detail that wasn't there, especially since I had went to the Aplha U, which was underwhelming, but now it isn't! (Am I the only one that actually reads ALL the release notes from every season front to back )
@@jassonco looks like you are bro 😁
I can’t wait to give it go 💪
its not active yet. it was rushed into the patch notes but David from iRacing said in the forum, it will take a few weeks until they implement it

Thx brother 🍻
Hey, I am currently trying to decide between Simagic Alpha and Alpha U. I am not sure if the 200 euros (I could buy a wheel for it) is worth it. Could you share your feedback?
Can you please update those settings to the recent firmware ❤
Do you touch ffb settings in game ACC for simagic or just leave the default? Thanks for the video!
I play mostly with the gain buddy
@@chepilevski Thanks for replying
With regards to your Moza settings, what is your iRacing game feedback set to. I have the R21 and find it’s way over powering and feels unrealistic
That is absolutely subjective and depends of the cars buddy!
For rally cross cars I’m at 110nm which is super light!
For GT3 around 58nm and for GT4 at 40 except the McLaren which have super light wheel!
I think you just need to test what feels great to you !
@@chepilevski thanks for the reply. This is where my head was at i just wondered if there was something I was missing.
What should I set the wheel rotation speed to be if I am doing iracing f4 cars? You said drifting/rally 20 and gt cars 100, but not sure for open wheel cars
Any plan to test aseteks gear would love to hear your feed back on their products?
Hello! I might have misunderstood, but you're saying that you don't use the FFB equalizer, yet the curve in the video isn't linear. Is that the setting you're using in the video? Thanks for your precise advice and recommendations.👌
Those curves are created for the R21 from Moza. When I put the R16-12 and 9 the line is flat 🤛
@@chepilevski this is also changes depending on the road effects percentage. if you customize the equalizer then the road effects percentage will be red(not in use) and vice versa.
This is what I needed!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much. Maybe I didn’t see it, but has anybody Tipps for the inhale settings in acc using an alpha mini base?
For the alpha mini, would you still use 60% FFB in the software or use 100%? Thanks.
No buddy
For the 10-12nm bases I use 100% as that’s the power I usually run and bay nature those bases with less power are more alive then the biggest ones and give the small details more even.
Hey, i've got the Alpha Ultimate based on this video from you, were you said you only use that one now.
I've used 100% FFB and 23nm Torque in software, with full details aswell and 58% Gain ingame and my base got really hot after just 30mins, is that normal or is it because of my settings?
Hi buddy
When you say hot, is like too hot to touch or you can keep your hand on it?
How are the ingame Settings in acc?
Much helpful, thanks!
I don’t know if possible that you could share settings for Fanatec 8nm gran Turismo 7 settings as well as ACC on ps5
About limiting your base to 60%
If i understand correctly when you are close to clipping you have the most amount of detail and the wheel feels alive.
Is it because when you put it on very high torque its "magnifiyng" the details and they overtake the small vibrations?
To be honest I have no idea why is that the case and refused to test that till recently and it really makes a difference
@@chepilevski
That makes me think that more than 15nm bases are just wasted headroom
My local supplier has alpha out of stock and only the U is available and it makes wonder,
Should I wait and get the alpha or take the U for 250 more with Killswitch
Does having more headroom is better?
Man why do you have inertia set to 100% on the simagic bases. In your previous settings video it was set to 0%. Have simagic reversed the slider or is that a change in your personal taste?
He clearly likes the weighty feel.
Because I’m changing bases all the time and some have more spikes hitting curbs which I personally like I was trying to recreate that same feeling with Simagic and start pulling to some extreme values I feel like the natural inertia helps that more pronounced and rapid moves.
@@chepilevski That’s great to know! Thanks for the quick answer mate! Keep on Racing!!
Was about to ask the same. Inertia at 100? Doesn’t it make the the steering rack feel like it has slop?
Thanks again for your great content. Always amazing stuff.
Settings tested on my Alpha Mini. Far to light around the middle but the direction is good. FFB feels very detailed ❤
Simagic U, assolutamente amazing now!!!!🎉🎉
For MOZA , try out INERTIA at 500%, and having friction and damping off, and wheel speed at 60. Everything else the same! And I still get the snap, still feel the road, and doesn’t feel light and fake!
I will give it a shot 🤛
I thought this would make my Moza r16 too lively for the VRC FORMULA ALPHA 23 on AC but I actually really like it.
@@BigPastaUnitedSimCo what % force do you run on the r16v2?
@@fiveofknives I run 100% force and 95% torque in pit house. The I adjust down in the sim/game. In Assetto which is where I spend most my time driving the VRC Formula Alpha f1 car, I run between 50-60% “gain” which is essentially FFB strength. That’s with the new formula alpha 24. But with the fa23 and other cars including gt, I am between 60-70%.
Do you have your Simucube Pro settings also?
Thank you for making this but you forgot to show the in-game settings for ACC
Hey mate,
what are your ACC ingame settings for the Simagic Alpha Ultimate?
Also interested but for Moza 😄
Are the Simagic settings from this video still applicable with the new firmware 194 firware that came out last week? I noticed that these settings in ACC felt a bit sharp.
Hey buddy, I’m not sure right now as I’m testing another base the last few weeks! Which sim you use?
@@chepilevski just received mu simagic ultimate last week. So far I have driven only ACC on it. Seen on the Discord a 195 firmware is already out and a lot of people reverted to 193, so probably something was wrong with the 194 firmware.

If you still own moza base go to their discord, grab the code and test yourself. Try before upgrade natural inertia from 100% to 500% and compare after upgrade. It is just amazing how good they did it!

Hi I’ve done ur settings a lot better but the ingame setting for max force has changed I couldn’t get 36 what would u recommend?
Is always personal preference man! Just test what’s comfortable for you without clipping the signal except on some curbs which is not a problem 🤛
Click the label “max force” and it changes the values into nm and vice versa in iRacing settings
Why set all "other effects" to 0 on simagic software? Cheers!
They don’t make difference in the sims I drive except the centering so I just turn them off for no reason
Experimenting is always great even if you finish with same results you learn something. 3:25
