Thanks, perhaps this is in my retirement future but I recently have begun binge watching Boise videos on my stationary bike and this is one of the best yet.

Ppl moving to Idaho. You will love it. You can Bow Hunt, Fish and shoot rifles on Sunday. Lastly they are Rodeos. (cowboy country)🤠. My only problem it's gets extremely cold.🥶
My husband and I with our 2 year old moved to Boise just two weeks ago. We live near the green belt so beautiful 🤩 although the ppl here are not very friendly. You get mean mugged absolutely everywhere even the ppl at work. Not at all what some videos say we’re they are welcoming and the friendliest ppl you’ll meet.. that is by far the biggest lie.
If you look too trendy, liberal, or person of color, it will happen mostly from older people or people that are conservative in general. The downside of the area, but hopefully will get better
@krinkedsurface a face of displeasure (kind of rude or mean looking) with a look or stare at a person. It's nonverbal usually. Just imagine doing something disgusting in front of people... they will probably mean mug you to kinda let you know their displeasure. Hope that makes sense
Yes, sigh. We live in California and drive up to visit relatives every summer. We always have to prepare ourselves mentally for the hateful folks who love to flip the bird at a California car, yell things or try to cut us off. It’s sad. From my perspective, it’s the locals that are the issue, not the Californians.
@@FirstHillSeattle take 95 south to Beatty NV. Turn right and drive thru Death Valley, and south thru Trona until you reach Ridgecrest CA. That is a high dessert area. Then say that it looks like Boise.
I understand a desert to be less than 12". I've lived in Riverside ca (7") and now Reno Nevada (10"). Both definitely deserts but very very different from each other as well as different from Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico. All are mostly deserts but each beautifully unique.

That’s a great way to Binge watch! Let me know what you want to see next!
I can’t wait to move to the area this summer!
What has you considering a move to Idaho?
My job is transferring me out there.

Your welcome. Where are you located watching from?
In Los Angeles, CA 😊
Hey! Thinking of moving out, big skier. How crowded are the nearby ski areas on a good weekend snow day? Say mid-January.
Bogus isn’t bad… but it depends on where you’re coming from I suppose.
What state are you planning on leaving?

You’re so blessed to live there. I live in a dark blue toilet and it’s terrible. We are desperate to leave asap.
Yikes - I'm about a decade too late for buying - shoulda, coulda woulda. I would want near downtown Boise 1-2 bedroom condo. I'll see what there is...
Thanks!

thanks for the comment. All great points. You and I have the same problem... I could do without the cold :)
Never understood the hype around Costco here that everyone seems to have. Moved from the Midwest and that was not the case haha
I live in Kansas and we’re all obsessed with Costco lol! Moving to Idaho soon though!
@@tarawasinger hope the move goes well! Boise is a great city and I’ll miss it! Moved back to the Midwest last month

Can we at least pronounce the name of the city correctly? There’s no “z” sound. It’s an “s” sound.
He’s obviously a transplant.
Actually the correct way is the French way: “boa-ys”
I live here and I use a Z.
@messertl we’re what’s wrong with this city
There’s no “Z” in Boise.
Yeahhhh don’t move here.
What to know? There are as many Californiain's as Idahoans in Boise. Be aware. Oh yeah, its overpriced, overhyped, overpopulated, over Californiated.

Yeah. The Californians suck...literally. that is what they are into.
It's not a desert, desert is less than 4" of rainfall a year. I moved here from the Mojave Desert. This area looks nothing like a desert.
Thanks for watching and for the comment.
Boise is in fact in a high desert region, also known as the Snake River Basin. If you google it you will get this exact same answer.
