For SEUS PTGI, it's "quite normal" Sonic Ethers uses a NVIDIA GPU to make his shaders, so it runs natively on GTX and RTX. For AMD, he's working on AMD compatibility since 2019 but it's nowhere near complete. For the moment the shader is working perfectly fine on NVIDIA and it does run on AMD but visuals aren't optimized

that's exactly how I am, I don't know why though, I'm trying to find a fix but haven't found anything yet, I just hope I can find something soon after spending almost 1k on a 6700 XT card

Here’s a big tip if you really want to make minecraft amazing but still have good performace i would recommend using this texturepack called better vanilla building
@@clay4320 In radon software. Performance Tuning Manual Gpu tuning - enable Advanced control - enable This will unlock the miniumum and maximum frequency sliders.
@@clay4320 If you're limited by your cpu or game engine then raising the minimum gpu clock will actually lower gpu usage in the on screen display. it's still doing the same amount of work though assuming your fps is the same. For example 100% usage @ 1000mhz 50% usage @ 2000mhz
i was able to keep my GPU at 1300MHz in the AMD app by going to Performance > Tuning > Manual Tuning Control > GPU Tuning > Advanced Control > and turning all the sliders to 1300MHz.
my 570 is struggling on mc I have an msi version I'm getting only 60fps nothing higher even with low chunks and vsync off and there are frequent drops in fps al the way down to 40 fps and I'm playing 1080p low I don't know what to please help!!!
Amd gpus cant pump out a lot of frames when you are not loading them. You can see that in csgo the rx5700xt is performing bab and the framerate is just fluctuating
Use Iris mod for shaders in this newer versions it will boost your fps so much and waiting time if you install it and with sodium, basically you can instantly change shaders

It's stupid because my 1660 super is also at 70-80% utilization and getting 70fps with sildurs extreme...i searched for a way to crank it up to 100% but i don't think it's possible
Hi, I found this video while I was searching for a solution for issue with my minecraft performance running at a AMD 580. I cant get over 30 fps even with optfine, no matter the version. I've seen a lot of people with the same problem, and I've already tried a bunch of different solutions but with no success. You didn't had any problem trying running the game? If you had, how did you solved it?
Minecraft is CPU Intensive, i mean if you pair i9-12900K + GT 1030, you will get higher fps than i5-7600K + RTX 3070. Therefore, gpu does not really matter if you play vanilla mode without shaders.
I get only 90 fps in minecraft 1080p medium settings.i have a Ryzen 5 3550H and gtx 1650 but the cpu gpu usage is just 40 percent.Tem0eratures are normal.Any idea what to do? Nvm after seeing this video it's totally understandable :)

the newer versions are more intensive because they had updated the open GL to 3.2 instead of 2.1

Try Fabric's Iris mod, I got heavy frame drops over time with Optifine with both my RX560 and Vega 8, none at all with Iris.

The low FPS is probably because optifine 1.17.1 is still in pre release whereas 1.16.5 is an offical release ;)

You can set the minimum gpu clock speed in radeon software. It will still use stock clock speeds when not in game.

It can also improve performance in some games, especially some older games where it can stick to 2D clock speeds due to a low load.

i was able to keep my GPU at 1300MHz in the AMD app by going to Performance > Tuning > Manual Tuning Control > GPU Tuning > Advanced Control > and turning all the sliders to 1300MHz.
I undervolted my 4gb version to 1400MHz Clock and Memory Clock to 2000MHz and its running fine at 60-70 °C
not bad, i have mine at 1400MHz with the memory clock at 2200MHz but its met for 7000MHz but amd wont allow it

the opengl error with seus ptgi is caused by some of the performance settings in optifine

I'm also facing the same issue with my GTX 1650 I'm getting 20fps with 20% GPU usage with shaders don't know how to fix it
you should try using the internal shaders with 2x render quality
that does it at 2x the resolution

that's normal, minecraft doesn't run on more than 2 cores and the 3550H has pretty weak single core performance!

The gt 710 runs minecraft pretty well 8 chunks low settings can get you around 80+ fps in 1.17.1 and at 1080p.
thats because minecraft is not a graphically demanded game (unless you put shaders on), it runs mostly on your cpu
