1 of 3 in a suite of solo instrument pieces. This piece is based off of the passacaglia from the Crucifixus movement in J.S. Bach's B Minor Mass.
It is meant to be a sonic meditation and manifestation on those who wish to "preserve" and "progress" life by, ironically, destroying it. It is about all that is controlled and manipulated. It is about the struggle of all sentient life, that quite simply, just wants to live free from suffering.
