- Another extended, thermoformed paddle with a 5.5 inch handle but is the Bread & Butter Filth any good? Rackets & Runners' Luca Berg shares his thoughts.

Just switched to this paddle from my cx-14 and have been loving it. Compared to the gearbox the sweet spot feels great. Ive also used a buddys legacy pro and prefer the filth over it as well because of its touch. Highly recommend
I love this paddle. It helped me improve my game.
Would you be able to do a review of all hybrid shaped paddles?
Interesting re add lead. I have this paddle and added lead (2 inch precut lead strips from Amazon) down at bottom corners. I tried multiple position there and further down, and found bottom corners felt best. Raw paddle was 7.9 oz, with lead and over grip, it’s 8.4. Interested to hear how others setup this paddle. Thanks.
I have it on both the top and bottom of the sides. It's widened the sweet spot and provided me better resets. I have 2 filths, one with and without lead. I periodically use the one without and I don't have as much touch, but my hand speed is much better. So, when I play with players who like to speed up alot, I go with the lighter lead-less one.
I placed BoomClap tungsten strips on my paddles (have two Filths) on the bottom corners - love how it feels (power, spin, pop) and seems to twist less. Filth gives me plenty of topspin on FH/BH and some “filthy” slice on my BH. I also play with B&B Shogun, slightly less power and a little more control - have not added any weight yet to this paddle.
I've added tungsten tape from pickleball effect, near the throat of the paddle , 2grams on either side(4g) and and 1gram on top side corners(2g), gives the paddle a great balanced weight feel and perfect control and power.
Love your reviews! Had a more general question for you... I'm looking to upgrade my paddle, I just starting playing some more pickle ball. I have used the Onix Z5 Mod for years, but only played once in a while. I like the standard size (wide body), the smaller handle, thinner paddle, etc. Do you have a recommendation for an upgrade that is similar? Thank you!
Thanks so much for the response! I will check them out! @@RacketsandRunnersPickleball
Just got mine today! Would you prefer this or the Vatic v7?
Would you recommend this paddle to someone who like to put spin on serves and returns in ping pong bc I started encorparsting that to my game. I currently have an Odin paddle from Amazon. But looking to get more into it and my style of play.
Yes, absolutely!
how's this compare to the Ruby overall (singles and doubles)...thanks and really like your channel
It doesn’t. Shape of the Ruby is the exact same as the Loco (BNB leased the shape from 6.0), material of Ruby is closest to Fat Boy. Filth is elongated, Ruby is hybrid shaped. Reach out if you have other questions!
Can you review these paddles: Selkirk Project 006 | 6.0 Double black diamond
@@RacketsandRunnersPickleball what about Volair Forza Mach 1
how do you compare this to hudef viva pro gen 2 in terms of power and pop?
Unfortunately, we don't carry Hudef at the moment so I can't compare them.
Will you carry the drip and spear?
They're in a different tier. I own a Filth and purchased the Drip for a friend, but if I had to redo, would most certainly go with the Vatic Prism Flash at the sub-$100 range. It's touted as the best paddle at that price by nearly any paddle reviewer you can find on YT
What is the warranty on this racket?
