Exactly. Powers that be want us to believe crime is down but I believe that’s a damn lie. You’re your own hero in your own story. The cops and the government specialize in cleaning stuff up not preventing crime or stoping it or defending it. People need to realize that! 🙏🏽
For the exact same reasons you do I never want to get caught short. All of my children live on their own so it's just me and the wife but I never try to go anywhere without carrying and when I can't I am quite nervous. I can't wait to get back home. I really like that CZ. Stay safe brother
I’ve had a firearm for years but didn’t carry all the time until about 2018-19 that we just started getting shootings everywhere. Schools, malls, movies even social events that’s when I decided to carry all the time. I call him my friend as a code to my family. The wife didn’t understand why at 1st but after a while she would ask before leaving the house “is your friend coming?” She felt safe and that my friends means everything to me. So it’s been all day every day for about 4-5 yrs now.
Warren v. District of Columbia... "The fundamental principle of American law is that a government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any individual citizen." The above ruling was made in a case where 3 women being held hostage managed to call the police TWICE and ask for help. The police never showed up, and the women were beaten, robbed, and raped for several hours. It set the stage for lack of accountability of the Coward in Broward, as well as the spineless men in Uvalde. You are your own 1st responder.
I started carrying because i was a the park with my 3 daughter's and a guy got right up on me i was defenseless looked at my daughter looking at me . thankful I'm still here but never again !! stay strapped or get clapped!!!!!
Bro I 100 percent agree with you on all 4 points. I carry everywhere where Im legally allowed to carry. I have a wife and two daughters as well. They fall under my protection and that's what Im going to do.
I carry everyday because I’m responsible for my family and my own safety. Earlier this year I was home on my day off when I heard multiple gun shots outside. 2 guys walked up to my neighbors and knocked on the door. When no one answered, they fired multiple shots through the door and front window. I called the police immediately and gave them a description of the suspects and their vehicle. They never even showed up since no one was hit or injured. Me and my wife went over our Ring footage and recognized one of the guys from the neighborhood and found his social media profile. We tried calling for 3 days to give the info to the police couldn’t even get them to answer the non-emergency line.
I totally understand I’m the oldest of four, a husband with a family. Luckily my son is a LEO(law enforcement officer) so he’s always carrying too, to help me. 😂
I carry everywhere I go. Always. For these same reasons. Plus I just really loves guns man. I’m always racking cleaning practicing. It’s just a lifestyle choice
Hey man, love the videos. What do you think about the SP01 vs the shadow 2 compact? I’m in a pickle trying to figure out what route to go. I don’t own a CZ yet, but wanting to get into the platform. Just debating whether I should spend the money on the S2C or get the P01 and send it to CGW. I also carry a gun everyday because I grew up in a similar situation. 2 sisters and I am the only male. My dad provided a better life for us coming to the U.S. He grew up with a passion for firearms when he looked after and protected a cabin for a home owner in Mexico. He was given a 30.06 to protect the property and the cabin. The day I turned 18 I went to my local bass pro and bought a Browning 30.06 X-Bolt with the wood furniture to help my dad relive that excitement, and that’s where my love and appreciation for firearms came from. Ever since I’ve collected and have over 20+ firearms. Not trying to get political or anything as well, but as a Mexican-American I have been in Mexico for several months at a time and reside in Dallas/Arkansas. I have been worried recently about all these terrorist organizations sending Middle aged men through our southern border. I know not all of these immigrants are coming to cause harm, but there’s definitely a problem.
Thanks man! If you are jumping into CZ and it’s between those two I’d go Shadow 2 Compact. It’s a happy medium and it’s a very high performing gun right out of the box and it’s optic ready so no extra expense or waiting time there.
I carry for the exact same reasons, in regards to loving my guns their like pieces of art to me that we make our own by dressing them up to our own liking and setups that best work for our own needs, i rather be prepared in carrying and never need it than be in that one situation where I didn’t carry and my life ended up depending on it or the life of one of my loved ones, i also have my wife and 2 beautiful daughters i have to look out for. 🙌🏽🙏🏽💯🔫
I carry because you never know what could happen anywhere anytime and you wanna protect the ones you love and care about and you’re self . It’s just the fact that you can and you should regardless. That’s also why I train and go to the range and so on bc you wanna be prepared bc when you have a gun it’s not all fun and games it’s fun to train and practice but when a situation happens you must also be prepared.
I was waiting for that because "I like guns" me too! That's one of the main reasons. Secondly, police do not have a legal duty to protect 'Castle Rock vs Gonsales'. Yes, they can and many of them will. I support my brothers and sisters in arms. But I always remember my emergency is now, and they are still 5-10 mins out. After more than I'm comfortable with experiences from my past I cannot afford to wait or to be out here just unarmed.
Love your point excluding the one where they give exact percentages as to what crimes are reported. How the hell can you get the statistics of unreported crime if they are not reported ?
Exactly bro! So how do they know crime is going down?? If almost half of crime doesn’t get reported how can they say “oh yes crime is going down year over year..” that’s my question lol
@@dariuskincaidSo that's not necessarily a good argument. I'll explain why. So it's impossible to measure something without having that thing to measure. But when it comes to crime percentages they are based on reported crimes. So if last year there were 100 crimes reported and then this year there is only 50 crimes reported then they can say crime has dropped 50% when comparing the first year and the second year's I mentioned. An argument can always be made when there is data but an argument cannot be made when there is nothing to back it. Luckily for crime I like other topics there is always some sort of data.
I always keep the answer to that question simple people are crazy and will harm you over the smallest things like words and even a look in their direction you can be the most peaceful person in the world that minds their own business but easily end up in the wrong place at the wrong time in front of someone who is just evil and decides to choose you as their victim

I believe most people are good people, so I think (with proper gun handling/safety knowledge) everyone should own a gun and carry it with them. Because how likely is someone going to try to do something stupid like rob you or kidnap your kid if they know there's a 90% chance the person they are doing it to has a gun. I carry it simply because I am simply obsessed with firearms as a hobby and self defense, and just simply because I legally can and have training and am responsible to carry. All that explaining isn't going to happen by me.
Another great video. Recently, I’ve decided to not have light on my carry. It is easier to get a holster. The clips on the holsters are recessed more so there is less bulk. The chances that I will need to illuminate anything where I carry is very very low. What are your thoughts?
Metal clips for me has become a must once I realized I conceal a lot better with the metal clips! And I pretty much always have alight on my pistols and rifles unless it’s like my shield plus or Glock 48 😅 it’s become so engraved I can’t see myself not having one on my guns
I don't think it's necessary to have a light on your edc firearm. Always carry a flashlight or multiple flashlights though. I generally will have two or three on me at all times.
