Some good content and info. Us blue collar can’t afford the latest and greatest every time something new comes out. I did a lot of research and watched a shit ton of review videos when I bought my EDC belt and holster. I have the same setup as you: Hunter Constantine Belt and T1 Axis Elite holster for my P365 XMacro Comp. It’s comfortable, but with my body type, I need to get a wedge for my holster.

There are a lot of isms in the gun community. But your absolutely correct and I’m definitely a victim lol

Another great video. I appreciate you addressing the elephant in the room. Like you, I’m constantly tempted to buy a new gun. But, like you said, it’s hard to know whether the guns are as good as the reviews. It’s a bigger problem in a restricted state where you can’t try them out or borrow from a friend. Keep up the good work!

I just subscribed from this video i agree with you 100 percent been saying the same thing for a long time about gun tubers.

Why is this such a huge thing in the gun community right now? Dude I love the channel and you really hit the nail on the head and have made better points than the majority of the other guntubers. The exchange is you get ENTERTAINMENT in exchange for your time. Guntube is entertainment and trust me there can be legal ramifications once you get to a certain size for negative reviews. We are all adults BUYER BEWARE and do your research. Don't just trust mfers on the internet because the content looks good because believe it or not the gun bunnies don't look that good in person either. Google is your friend, think critically and your best point is DON'T AUTO DEFAULT TO RAMPANT CONSUMERISM. Our own Cognitive Dissonance is the reason we're not happy with the 10th firearm that does the same things as the last one and has the same John Moses Browning, Eugene Stoner, Gaston Glock or Mikhail Kalashnikov operating systems. Collectively as a group take this method of thinking from this video and apply it across everything in your life. Think critically, move cautiously, spend minimally and no one in this world owes you a damn thing and you'll be whole hell of a lot happier.

Great advice… pick your firearm carefully and with thought and purpose. Don’t get caught up in all the latest craze or newest model of whatever. And train with your carry firearm and then train some more. Dry fire and practice draw as much as possible so every movement becomes automatic and without thought. I believe having a large rotation of carry guns will cause you problems if that time comes you have to use it.

I really appreciate this video. My first few years of carrying a concealed carry handgun I only owned one handgun. I felt like I was less than these guntubers because I was rocking an “old” gun. Now I own a Canik TP9 SC and I’ve been focusing on training only with that platform. My shooting has gotten better and my draw is much smoother.

I don’t care what a guntuber say I’m a grown ass man it my decision I don’t let another grown person make it for me I watch the videos and make my own decisions. If you have a problem with other gun tubers I suggest you stop looking at them stop hating on them. That’s what I smell. I hate.

You also have to watch videos on the issues of that particular weapon. There are a few guntubers who I personally will never take seriously because it is pretty obvious they are paid. Scootch, Colion, Hickok, Humble Marksman. I stopped following tends, optics on guns is more of a pain than just going with simple irons. I have bought cheap and expensive guns. Sometimes you get what you paid for other times you buy some good quality stuff at a cheap price

Great video! I have been trying to figure out how to stop buying so many handguns. I have WAY too many. You can only have so many full size duty guns and edc carry guns. I wish I could downsize and minimize my handguns to a Primary Full size duty handgun and a secondary backup. And a primary EDC gun with a secondary backup. I wish I could be satisfied with only 4 handguns but it's very difficult. The gun industry is constantly progressing and changing. New features, technology, ergonomics, etc. Upgrading is always on my mind. But consumerism is strong in my mind. Wish I could change.

There are some really good gun reviewers out there. Ghg Hussle, real Rambo Jay, Hickock 45, honest outlaw to name a few. And then there are some who obviously have nothing but good things to say about every single gun they put their hands on. I won't name names but they're the biggest in the game. I've ran into this, just have to find and stick to the good ones.

A lot of these gunfluencers will say at the start of their reviews that they are not being paid by the companies, but that they do receive samples free of charge to review from manufacturers. It's the same as getting paid to me though. They have to put out positive reviews in order to stay on the companies good side and keep the free samples coming. I have hard time trusting those types of reviews, it's marketing to get you to buy the product.

Most of this big names qill mislead you for money. God forbid they loose their platform and have to go back to a regular job. Some are so bad its obvious that their opinins are paid for, but when you point it out they claim you are jealous 😢thats why personally i stick woth whoever i think is being authentic.

shooting different guns has made me a better shooter in general. i now understand what a good trigger feels like for me, what a better grip is for me, etc. they are all different experiences and you don't know what you don't know. i try to limit myself to 3-4 guns. carry, bedside, range toy to test things, and maybe 1 holy grail like a pit viper or an atlas 2011.

Appreciate the video. Unfortunately once someone gets a big platform people come from all angles to steer their hand via the dollar. Need to see through it to what’s real. End of the day - Train. Carry. Protect yourself and others to the best of your ability.

Been saying it forever now, guntubers have turned into modern day commercials. they all get mad when you call em out but watch people like Colion Noir and you can’t find a negative review. Scootch etc. But if you watch other stuff on youtube you’ll notice the same thing. camping, overlanding, people pulling out gear with the labels facing the camera, all brand new equipment etc. Its all just companys getting smart on how to advertise their stuff

Why did you choose to carry the oz9 over the cz75? Ive got a canik mete sf, g19 sized, and ive been considering getting a cz75p01, but im debating if its a wise decision.

Carry rotation is foolish for most. The more you change platforms the more you change up shooting style and proficiency. Carrying and practicing with the same platform helps build the proficiencies needed in self defense situations. Not everyone will be, or even is an operator. The best practice is to get proficient on one stock platform. Once proficient then you can introduce another. For example, presenting a Glock and an sig will change where that front sight is. Staying with one platform helps you from having to chase the front sight on different platforms.

I try to record myself when the weather is nice. Right now, it's so hot and humid that I just run outside and shoot a couple hundred rounds and run back inside 😂

Two days in a row. Turning my week around! Great Video. I fell into the same trap buying the hyped up stuff. Now i edc my G48 no matter what. I have a good collection. But i dont rotate my edc anymore. I train, train, train with my g48. I enjoy my builds but they are range toys. The HC belt is the best belt ive ever owned. I wear it everyday belt loops or not.

I think it's best to just focus on one. Train, carry, customization, make your clothes and accessories revolve that one you have chosen. I appreciate your bonafide comments and experiences. 💪

I’m a Glock boy, the only thing keeping me from the CZ 75 series is that I feel like my support hand grip is gonna feel different than my striker fired pistols. Is that something that you was able to adjust to pretty quick?

You can get ideas from RUclips but you'll only really learn by doing for yourself, so don't feel bad about being influenced, just don't jump on board and hard-charge at the immediate drop of a video from your favorite RUclipsrs without thinking through it (i.e., do your own research).
