Not a single industrial or traditionally metal element in this. Just lumbering, dangerous "Organic" sound with vocals and strings coupled with an assault of aggressive high tech modular synth noise. Brilliant my man.

When I first saw the Cyberdemon in this version, I got the same fear and goosebumps I did when I was 5, playing my Dads copies of Classic Doom . And the music gave me an adrenaline rush through the whole boss. Good show! Good show indeed!

It's a nice idea, but even now, the two Demons wouldn't cooperate, even if it were to tag-team up against the Doom Slayer. The Spider Mastermind is the rightful ruler of Hell, and the Cyberdemon is Hell's mightiest warrior. They've been battling for supremacy for millennia... even in Doom 95 it says that.
3:20 is fucking unhinged, like talk about insanity in music. I like to think this plays when fighting the Cyberdemon, the demons of hell initially are rooting for him but as you continue to whoop his ass, they change and start root for you, like a gladiator fight
I’m a Damnation guy myself but this song has definitely grown on me. It’s not as over the top as the others but I appreciate its restraint. It feels focused and methodical like the slayers actually giving a shit in this fight since it’s (thematically) one of the demons that actually can compete with the slayer.
Probably my favorite boss track in the game. Hearing this and E2M8 back to back honestly feels like they blend together perfectly - this track and the slow beginning of E2M8 have such similar time signatures that they would sync up well
