That looks so delicious. I want to move to Spain so I can have the olives, olive oil, canned Tuna and everything else that they don’t have in the US.

Well, I wouldn't discourage you from moving here Melinda, we LOVE it but...having lived in the US for many many years, I'm pretty sure you can get similar products (although they are probably a lot more expensive for sure). Have fun on the hunt! Cheers, Caroline

You might have to look in specialty shops, but things are changing. My local Walmart has an “ethnic” section, and it has every manner of exotic things, including a good selection of different olives and olive oil. But I still frequent small European and middle eastern stores for special things.

I am originally from Russia. You prepared good russian salad. We add fresh onion also to salad. Love your channel.

Hi Jann - Thanks so much for your comment and suggestion. Fresh onion would probably be a great addition to add some spice to the salad. I’ll have to try it! Cheers, Caroline

That looks delicious. Have seen Helen Rennie's version (RUclips chef from Russia) which looks great too. I am going to do this. Don't get all those beautiful canned veggies in the US (but there are still nice canned tunas-- l like Wild Planet in US--still $$ though) and I think an avocado oil based mayo with garlic would be great (immersion blender is easier). Also "quick pickles" are easy. Any veggie(s): about a half cup of mild vinegar, a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar, wait about a half hour (cabbage takes 2-3 hours). There are jarred versions of mixed pickled veggies as well.

Looks interesting. I'll have to look up your aoli recipe next. Did I miss where you added the pickled vegetables?

Ahh, sharp eye, you! No actually you didn’t miss it, it was only a suggestion for a winter version when you can’t get things like fresh peas (which I harvested from the garden for this video) or if you want a more piquant version. I like it both ways but the pickled version definitely is great for gut health with its prebiotic and probiotic fermented products too. Cheers, Caroline

That is colourful! Looks perfect to accompany bbq in the summer, or even as a take along work lunch, given that it has protein built in with the tuna. I feel like I could add a piece of fruit and I would be happy with that for lunch.

Oh brilliant idea! You could always up the tuna quantity to make sure you are getting enough protein for your meal too!
