22:37 When Bob was attacked by the contestant it was included in Bob Barker's 50 years celebration in 2007, and Flashbacks from seasons 40, 44, and 45!
Four years before this episode on this date Bob Barker denounced hair dye and allowed his hair to go gray and would eventually turn white. Monty Hall and Alex Trebek followed Barker's decision to go gray hair in the late 1980s.
Apparently, this show was taped before the 20th season premiere week was taped. From what I read, episodes were taped way out of order for the first couple of months.
Perpetual Motion Marilyn and Melanie turned up later as clips on special shows, particularly Melanie. THe pricing game Marilyn played was retired soon after because of the whole Barker and Dian "relationship" thing going on at the time. SOme people think a Marilyn who acted similarly on Let's Make a Deal a few years ago may be the same contestant.
Well, this episode was an all-time classic! Bob should be thankful that he survived this. He should also be thankful that he's no longer hosting, give these Red Bull-fueled contestants that have been handling Drew like NFL linebackers!
These contestants are way out of control, I think the audience should be briefed prior to going on air that they are only allowed to shake Bob's hand. What's up was with that Marilyn, did she have to go potty or what ? Loved how Bob and his beauty's got into it.
What Melanie and Marilyn (aka Chyna of WWF fame) need to understand is that they are on The Price Is Right, not (The New) Treasure Hunt. Bob Barker is no Geoff Edwards who can handle Samoan contestants better than Barker could. It's no wonder Bump was retired after around Thanksgiving 1991. The Price Is Right is a G-rated game show and Bump, Melanie and Marilyn turned it into something MTV-ish. Even the models excluding Janice couldn't get over it. My New Year's resalution for 1992. NO MORE BUMP! MORE CLOCK GAME!
I saw this episode when it was truncated into a half hour because of the local news in my area. They showed Marilyn's game first, then Melanie's game second. They then showed the big wheel and showcase segments. Bob certainly had his hands full with this episode.
There was a video clip that was removed where after the ticket plug, Bob and Marliyn were bouncing back and forth into commercial. Does anyone have that clip? I can tell this broadcast was a repeat, probably.
Do you have the episode (not sure from what year) where Rod was featured in a showcase with Dian and Holly, near Rod's podium where he would change his jackets saying the particular one he was putting on, was one he wore when describing certain prizes?
i hope you have plans to upload more episodes in the future as I download them to my computer and can watch them when I have no internet connection thanks again
Funny how the person who uploaded is named Janfanforever and Janice was not even present in this episode. Boy, did she miss a good one! Very entertaining. Holly, Dian, and Kathleen all look fine here as well.
Well,I'll be damned. I have seen Melanie and Marilyn play their pricing games but I had no idea they would end up facing each other in the showcase. Too bad not much else was won before or after they played. It was cool of you to upload this but for the love of christ, upload BETTER episodes.
Bob will never forget this show! One of the classics for sure!
This episode is a trip!!! One contestant pinching Bob Barker and another contestant is hugging him so, so, so hard!!! I feel Bob Barker's pain!!!
That reminds me when a contestant tried to jump on Drew Carey and he almost fell off the stage
That's probably why Barker retired, before they could kill him

Not to mention The Price Is Right 25th Anniversary Special in a tribute to the "Samoans"!

This was a great episode. I loved watching the showcase at the end.

I remember this episode. These bring back wonderful memories

Good episode. Never knew RCA made dishwashers....
If The Price is Right does an All Star week special, then I'd like to see Marilyn and Melanie come back. :)
"Bouncy Squeeze" is a good nickname for this episode.

They used to tell the audience during announcer warm ups to "Don't Hurt Bob". I guess this was before they started doing that.

R.I.P. Chyna
Also this would be the first episode before her release in 2000 that Janice Pennington was not on the Price is Right
I think she missed some time a couple years later when she went to Russia to investigate her first husband.
38:32 - The LAST think Marilyn needs is more sugar. X3
Thankfully, she was cut short of it by bidding too low and causing Melanie to squeeze Bob again!

This is the funniest episode I've ever seen of TPIR
She Is Dangerous Oh My Amy Winehouse Of The 80s

Although I am a Janice fan, I still like the show... :)
It's a very amusing episode to what plays out. Quite entertaining indeed.
+Janfanforever 13:57 And This What Happends
+Jo Pickett She Is Dangerous
Where was Janice Pennington?
Bring back bump PLEASE and Superball
Those games are retired.
22:32 Brace yourself, Bob! She's a wild one!
40:44 Here we go again!
Showcase Showdown: Melanie vs. Melons
I'm Done Watching!
Is that the last playing of BUMP?
Nope, the last playing of Bump wasn't until about a month later.
"you win melanie.' 40:39
I think he needs a body cast now
17:47 17:50 What a bummer!
Bob almost called Dian 'Janice,' but he saved himself.

Super Ball is the stupidest game! At least the golf one lets you hit 6 inches away if u get everything right
What was that unique music cue where Kathleen was modeling the dress?
They are Ying the MatchGame Hollywood Squares theme for the Super Ball game
Bob probably told Marilyn to meet him in his dressing room after the show lol
0:43- 0:52 best part of the episose
33:35 33:59 Spins the wheel hard. 34:15 He went over by a $1.
Hilarious episode!
John was going down if Meliani wouldn’t have saved him.
