I absolutely hated Looking For Alaska. I was dragging myself to finish it. Couldn't flip another page without falling asleep. I LOVED the way he wrote it and the way he described the moments but nah It took me so long to finish it.

I LOVE the Maze Runner! But its most definitely an unpopular opinion in my friend group too. So I feel you, my friend.

Thank you for never judging a book! I picked up Twilight because it was just rumored to be so bad that I wanted to see for myself what it was doing. And... I loved the whole series.
I totally agree with last question. I read the Maze Runner and found Thomas whiny. I really didn't like the writing. Honestly I liked the synopsis on the back cover more than the actual book. But I feel the Maze Runner movie was made beautifully and the acting was on point. I really enjoyed and I'm hoping to enjoy the Scorch Trials. Especially because Kat who is playing Clary is in it!

1:45 It was the same for me. I was originally 100% Jessa and didn't get Wessa at all - I mean Will was so rude, "bad-boyish", all he did was hurt Tessa, which is a trope in love interests that I am just so sick of. But later on when his true nature came out I was like _hey, Will's okay actually_ but I was still Jessa all the way. Eventually I started to fall in love with Will's character and I was like 50-50 Jessa-Wessa and so yeah I was happy in the end regardless of what happened.

I completely agree with The Maze Runner! The movie is one of my favourites but I felt the books drag on. Plus, Dylan O'Brien is so 😍

I've seen a lot of people on booktube say that they don't like Paper Towns. That one is actually my favorite John Green book! It was the first one I read by him and I really enjoyed it!

I like the dystopian/corrupt leader thing. I've been getting into it, and now I feel like dystopian is one of my favourite genres, if not my favourite genre! The Handmaid's Tale is one of my all-time favourites.
Tbh, I still can't choose between Jessa and Wessa even though I read TID a year ago...
I never watch videos about people's opinions on things because they always force them on the viewers but you explain yours in such a nice way.

I personally like Eadlyn, but I get why other people don't and she is a bit annoying. Also I totally don't blame you on the John Green thing, honestly I think I like him more as a person than as a writer. He's not a bad writer though

Team Wessa. Definitely. One character that I personally didn't like that much (kind of) was Jem.
**ducks (lol) to avoid oncoming hate** It's not that I didn't like him, it's just that I supported Wessa so much, I couldn't stand the fact that Jem was interfering. Especially that Clockwork Prince ending! ugh.
Anyways, I didn't like Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I read Fangirl also by Rainbow, loved it (Sasha, you should read it, it's about the fangirling of Harry Potter, basically although in Fangirl, they call it "SImon Snow") and I went into Eleanor & Park, expecting to be wowed. Not what I expected. Didn't like it that much. Its tone was too gloomy and the characters weren't relatable. Fangirl, however, is amazing!

oh, and scorch trials (the movie), I hated it. It felt just like percy jackson all over again. The first movie was alright. The actors are just like I imagined in the books. But I'm not going to be watching death cure when it comes out. Scorch Trials just ruined it for me

WESSA!!! TESSWILL!!! I shipped them so hard!!! I loved the whole trio tbh. I love the fact that the love triangle wasn't out of jealousy or that one character was the complete and obvious choice and the other one was just there for the purpose of making the love triangle(*cough*Twilight*cough*). Cassie's love triangle in TID wasn't because of those things, it was because they all loved each other so much and it was beautiful. Cassandra Clare did the seemingly impossible thing and SOLVED the love triangle!!

I'm also kinda fed up of the dystopian society plots because there was a phase wherein all the popular books that were turned into movies have dystopian societies. +tova portmann im reading paper towns at the moment and havent seen the film either (im gonna finish the book first) but at this point ive read almost half of it and im not that impressed. like i was kinda waiting for something so great bc of the hype and the movie and everything but at the moment is seems like its going to be a dissapointment for me as well

Ahh the inheritance books are so so so good! The only thing I wasn't too keen on was fourth book because it was originally intended to be a trilogy but things weren't entirely wrapped up, but the gap between the third and fourth book was so noticeable in the style. I love it nevertheless and marathoned them last year!

No one can agree with me on this. I really don't enjoy any of Jennifer l armentrouts books, obsidian? It was so teenagery it felt like a chick flick. I hated it. Tried her other books, nothing special... I just don't see the appeal that others see. The writing? Just under average haha (don't kill me)
I only like the covenant series by her. The other two series made me want to claw my eyes out

I totally agree with Paper Towns. It was so annoying. Btw fun story with Jessa. I have a friend named Jessa and I was getting her attention in a courtyard. This girl shouted at me "Will and Tessa Forever!" I haven't read it yet, but I got the reference and just started laughing so hard. Great video!

I agree with the Dystopian thing! They are all over nowadays. I mean I love dystopian books, (Divergent, the hunger games, etc..) but I think that it’s being a bit over-used nowadays. Bring on the fantasy and more sci-fi! (Ooh try reading The Secret Fire! It’s a new release and I LOVED it! It’s centered around a sciency alchemy)
Also, if you want contemporary book suggestions, maybe try Saint Anything? It’s super sweet! I’m not the biggest contemporary reader either, but I loved this one! ^-^
