Mary Nehmé I use to think the same way. I’m 20 years old and honestly I never picked up a book to read for pleasure my entire life. I started reading over the summer and I’m at 10 books in just a couple months. A really good method I found is to just read 30 pages a day. 10 in the morning, 10 in the afternoon and 10 before I go to sleep. It also helps me prioritize my college work. If u read 30 pages a day by the end of the week you’ve read 210 pages !! That’s almost a book a week

I can't see the point in having 2, 3, or even 4 copies a book! Even if it's signed or special edition I can't justify it. Ahh!
I'm an avid reader but I still only keep one copy of a book. As soon as i get a new copy I rehome the old one. Maybe it's a hoarder thing.
Lydia Kosti I adore books have being reading books for nearly 20 years now,i think its a waste.
Nicolebeth Smith I always have a minimum of two copies per book. One in English and one in my mother tongue.
It's like having more than one of the same type of shirts as well. Sometimes you want to it with black stripes, sometimes you want to wear it with red stripes.
Nicolebeth Smith same!!! the only one i would buy another copy of is Jane Eyre because its one of my favourites but the one i have is massive, or if i bought it on kindle and want to re-read it in paperback, otherwise id rather just spend the money on a new book!
The only book I get multiple copies of my favourite novels. I have only done it with HP, ASoIaF and some Poetry, I get them in hardback and softcover. I feel like having too many of them is pointless, other people could enjoy them who cannot afford books. I consider greedy when I see people who have 5 of the same book that they never read. It also is a waste of paper. Though, it is not my place to tell anyone how many copies of a book one should own, I may just be very opinionated.

I have been trying to reorganize my bookshelves since the 12 of April! You have given me hope but at the same time I don't know how to order them.
I think I will sort them into paperback, mass market and hardback then sort them by publication company and then the author's name. Now I just need to find the effort do it.

esther andare, you could organize them by alphabetical order, genre, or most to least favorite\ least to most favorite

Not too long ago, I was in a place where I was really depressed and never had anything to look forwards to. Then I watched one of your videos, and you completely inspired me to get up, go to the bookstore, and buy some of the books you recommended. Now I actually have something to look forward to in life-- your videos and finishing my terribly long TBR list.
Sasha, you may have very well saved my life. You are my hero.
Try shelving books by Colour... It looks beyond amazing, and somehow is beautiful - think artist' palette, shop array of towels, fabrics, pens- and calming as well... I have a lot of books too, and when I had a great long spread of bookcases built in , I put the books in by colour.....I know, I know, we love books to read not just for show........ but....we do have to look at them as well, and since I know what I've got, I can find it on another part of the shelf... The trick is to create a juxtaposition of colours that will accommodate books eg in a series, that ought to be adjacent. I put the black spine books at the bottom and to one side , and then the rest is glorious shots of colour...
If you haven't already, you should read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It just recently got made into a movie, and it's one of my favourites.
don't know if you meant to misspell the title as "originize" (as in, "origin") instead of "organize," but if you didn't, you might wanna fix it. you don't wanna lose your grammar cred, being a booktuber & all.
I'm watching this video and seeing so many of my favorite books/series. My two favorites are the selection series, and the shatter me series; which just so happen to be right next to each other on her shelf!!!!!

I'm so jealous of your book collection 😍 For anyone looking for cheap books, see if there's a library sale in your area. I've gotten 20 books for 10 dollars before. I even got hardback copies for divergent and allegiance for 2 dollars each! A good suggestion for anyone that has a tight book budget 👍
