Pitmaster Profiles: Ed Mitchell, The Preserve Pinehurst Barbecue Festival, Sept. 3-5, 2021

The Pinehurst Barbecue Festival, presented by Pinehurst Resort, U.S. Foods and Business NC Magazine, will be a “Celebration of Taste and Tradition,” offering a unique collection of special events, vendor samplings and displays, live music, grilling classes and fun for the entire family to enjoy. In addition to the best Eastern and Western North Carolina-style barbecue, this event will highlight several of the state’s finest craft breweries throughout the weekend, including Pinehurst Brewing Company. Vendors during the festival will include barbecue grill companies and suppliers, along with BBQ sauces and rubs. Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the festival. An all-star lineup of renowned and prestigious North Carolina pitmasters! It will be the Ed Mitchell Invitational on Sunday at the Pinehurst Barbecue Festival.
