Just changed the fluid out of my accent!! But struggling to get an accurate reading on the dipstick I've managed to put 3.4 qt already. Is that enough??? The dipstick shows overfilled but I do believe it is not!
Your likely correct as far as the dipstick goes it will go into limp home mode if there's not enough oil(don't ask me how I know that) take it for a lap then see how ot drives or if you have the old oil measure that. It depends on how much oil came out.
Thanks for the question the main thing is to use the right oil recomended for the car and good quality stuff. But which manufature of the oil doesn't matter too much. It's been three years since this was filmed and she's still going strong. But I don't think hyundai actually make oil so there oem would just be someone else's.

You haven’t had any issues since you drained and refilled your transmission with Castrol oil instead of Oem oil ? Thank w

Not sure about specific brands most autostores will have a tablet or a book handy to help you check what it compatible :)
