Beautiful way to restart my day as a tired teacher awake at 2:00 AM with a mind racing and trying to figure out how to do it all! Thank you! I'd love to see a healing yoga nidra practice for injuries, sickness or just feeling rundown.
Melanie thanks for all you do as a teacher and thank you for being here. I'm glad this practice helped you. Love this idea for the run down feeling and will work on that! I do have one for healing that was released last month.
Thanks Loren. I really like the way you have done this. Your voice is soft yet natural and the tone of the practice is down to earth, caring and easy to receive. While at the same time having depth and clear purpose. 😊
Thanks so much for putting this on RUclips, I’m a 63 year old man and have started doing this about 2 weeks ago . It’s wonderful, easy to follow, and a lovely soothing voice . The time goes so fast , seems more like 5 minutes than the 10 minutes. Peace and love to you and everyone.
Hi Danny! So glad to have you here as part of the community. Love to hear how much you are enjoying this meditation. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment.
Thank you so much for starting your day with me. I appreciate it. I am releasing another 10 minute morning practice today, hope you get a chance to try it.
Thank you, Lauren for generously sharing your teachings with us. Early in my journey into yoga, I really enjoy these shorter 5 to 15 minute practices. I look forward to exploring your channel and seeing the other ones you have posted and thank you in advance!
You are so welcome! When I was in nursing school I was a secretary in the ER, so I know how much stress that can be for you. I am so glad it is helping you manage it and giving you rest and replenishment.
Thanks for this practice. I listen to several yoga Indra practitioners, first time for you. I really like your voice and energy and the production quality. I also appreciate that you get right to it, without a lot of introductory talk. Subscribed!
Hey Robert! So glad to have you a part of the community 💘 hope to see you again in the comments soon and you find some other practices you enjoy here on the channel.
@@lorenrunion Thanks, Loren. Glad to be here and support what you're doing. I'm also a professional musician -- a free-improvisational pianist -- and I use Yoga Nidra to clear away my thoughts before I sit down at the piano and let my hands find some music. Wanted you to know that your work can have wide-ranging ripples in the world, beyond what you might expect (:
Hi Ann! Loren here, (not Ally although I'll take being confused with Ally B any day!) I do have one like this I just have to find it!! I will come back once I do with the link. If I don't find it I will create one.
Wonderful. Just what I needed to pause my flying thoughts of all the things I want to do this morning. Loved the background sounds. I feel open and calm now. Namaste 🙏🏼
This was wonderful. Thank you! I’ve never done a yoga nidra before where the coach called attention to each individual finger. That helped me focus and get into it
I a pm a huge fan of your channel and get a lot of benefit from your videos. And, I end up feeling a bit frustrated sometimes because the invitation to state my sankalpa doesn’t actually come with the time to state it (as in, maybe once or twice before you move on, but not three times) or the space (as in the little time I do have to state it is interrupted with further guidance on stating it). Again, love your channel. I would also love it if you had more space and time for the sankalpa you are inviting us to state. Thanks 🙏 😊
Hey James! Thanks so much for your feedback. You are absolutely right, my older videos the space I left for the sankalpa was not optimal. If you listen to anything from the past year you should find that isn't the case. I leave about 1 minute of space for it to be repeated if it is supposed to be repeated 3 times. Hope you can find another video you like with more space.
Hi loren, I found this one, which is also really relaxing 😊 Nice start of the day.(8 am in the Netherlands) Focussing on both arms, hands, and both legs and feet, and the left and right side of the body (especially perfect for the short practice) And the sankalpa “ I have a calm and balanced day” Personally I would have liked a little more time to do the sankalpa 🤭 Thank you ❤ have a great day🙏💐
So glad you are loving it! I don't think I can be the one to say if an experience is good or bad but rather ask you if the experience felt okay to you. If you were able to still feel safe that is the most important part of the practice. Because the practice of yoga nidra is very deep, many different things can happen from out-of-body experiences, and astral projections to feeling or seeing different things. What may feel good to one person may feel really bad for another. It is very normal to have experiences in sensation etc, so as long as it felt "good" to you I say that is perfect! Hope this makes sense 💗
Hi Evelyn, thank you so much for joining me, I am glad you enjoyed the practice. I do not have any meditations specifically for that. What would that look like for you to have a practice like that?
@@lorenrunion sorry, I didn't mean to insult you. It was just kind of an awkward transition for me, but I did enjoy the rest of the practice! And I needed to transition back to the real world at the end of it, anyway 😜
Was great minus the ads playing in the middle of the practice, it was disruptive. If it's possible to move them to the start or end of the video, that would be great
That's a major bummer. Unfortunately I have zero control over random (it doesn't happen all the time) ads RUclips places in my content until I hit 1k subscribers. I reached out and asked and the only suggestion they offered was for viewers to pay premium RUclips 🙄 sorry you had that experience.
Absolutely loved this! Best way to start my day, thank you!

I liked it until she said "don't forget to like and subscribe" in her peaceful yoga voice at the end... I literally LOLed. It kind of killed the vibe
It's too funny because I literally LOL every time I hear someone say something so small like this "kills the vibe" of an entire meditation.
