This is exactly how I film a wedding day, you can tell you used to be a photographer, most of how I shoot is from learning how photographers shoot. Such a great detailed video thank you!! And congrats on your TWIA win!
Thanks so much for watching Sian, yes I didn't really change my style much from how I used to shoot photo to be honest.. just hold my shots a little longer now haha
Hey, Thanks so much. I have considered it but I feel editing is too big of a topic to cover in videos, I was considering a workshop though if I can get enough interest
This is really helpful!! Question when you were setting up the cam on speeches. How did you manual focus with just them couple? Preventing to change focus when someone shows up randomly in front of em or walking in front of the camera.

Mate I love your editing and grading. Are you planning to do any videos on this?

Love your initiative. I've been looking for a UK based videographer to do this kind of videos.
Thank you, yes there is a real lack of content from UK based shooters isn't there
Fab video mate keep them coming
Thanks so much
Ah I know this venue well! Cool to see how other videographers shoot it 😀
Quite inspired to do a wedding BTS myself now. Nice one dude!
Thanks for watching Sam
Loving this video dude!
and ND filters are the worst
I've never been able to get on with them
This video is very helpful. Thanks mate
Thanks for watching
Great content!
Thank you
Roo, Throughout the day, are you recording a bunch of short clips or longer continuous clips with multiple angle changes?
Mainly lots of short 6 second clips
Love this, nice work. What are you using to attach your camera to your hip?
Thanks

I used auto focus to lock onto the couple then switched the camera to manual focus so that the focus stayed in the exact same place
@@roo_films ohh how do you lock using autofocus? Lemme try it later 🤣😅
Amazing video mate do you ever use a gimbal
thank you, no I've never used a gimbal at a wedding
Nice vídeo 🙌🏼🙌🏼 record 4k? Or 1080p?
1080p/50
So you don’t shoot S-log3?
No not currently
you film as a photographer would shot
Yes definitely. I was a wedding photographer first so have just translated my photo style into video
Why you don't hire second shooter to help you ?
I can easily capture the day on my own, the couple have the option to book a second shooter of they like, but most don't
Don't believe the hype with caffeine shampoo
Yeah man, all it did was give me flaky ears!!!
