I really liked the Playfair Display & Fauna One combo. One of my favorites is Crimson Text (heading) Montserrat (body).

Nice to see that Quattrocento now has a bold and a regular weight, but it would be good to have italics and extra-bold, more useful.
I love the Playfair Display + Fauna One combo. Playfair is used on my website which features products for women, so it's nice to know that it's a favorite font of yours. I'm going to change the body text to Fauna One.
The oswald and quattrocento combo is incredible!
Google Fonts saved my life during design school final work... it's a saint site. I agree with the combinations, though some of them lack slavic letters (žďňťóúíá) Thank you for spreding the word! :3

font pairing is very useful, but you should try and never use more than 2, possibly 3 fonts on a single design
Might need this on magazine designs
Google fonts will have so many opportunity for pairing, all the best for your project

@@SatoriGraphics Ahh, thanks for the tip. Just watched it, and again, an amazing video. Thanks for these few tips, and I think these will be easier for beginner pairers.
I will study more about the pairing subject and watch some other video's you made about typography (I just love them!).
Beside this all, I really like it when you react to most of the viewers reactions. I'm sure your very busy, but most people don't react and that's sad. People always have questions after a video or a (nice) comment and just a simple reaction like "thanks" or anything gives the feeling the channel owner does care about what you think or feel.

Just a very minor remark/question. I know this is very nitpicky, but this is content for designers, not for clients, hence I believe the vocabulary doesn't have to be dumbed down. But as it is, is there any specific reason for you to do so?
A typeface - e.g. Helvetica, Akzidenz-Grotesk, Didot, is the entire family as well as each individual weight. What you presented were typeface pairings
A font, is what you use. E.g. Helvetica Bold in 12pt size specifically.
But perhaps I'm wrong, that's how I always thought of this. Or perhaps videos that use the word "font" perform better than "typeface"?
This content is also for people interested in design who may not have formal education or a lot of experience. I've found Satori's videos amazing and my graphic design is confined to making stuff for my daughter's dance studio or stuff my wife wants to look nice.

I came to know about Procreate (iPad) from my friend. I was waiting for your video to ask which is the best device (Mouse/Graphic Table/iPad) for graphic design. I am a beginner in this field and I rely on your videos a lot. I am confused whether to stick on to Ai/Ps or shift to Procreate.
Hi there, it really depends what you are doing. If you are somebody heavily into illustration, you will need a great drawing tablet. I personally have never owned an iPad, and I have in the past used a basic drawing tablet when working on the logo design process. It comes down to personal preference, I mainly just use a mouse and keyboard however. I've never used Procreate so cannot give an opinion

Hello, I'm a beginner in creating logo. I want to ask, do you need permission to use a font from Google Fonts if the license type is OFL? The problem is I need the font to complement the logo I'm selling, but I'm too afraid to use it right away.
OFL is open source meaning you can do whatever you want with the font. even edit it. So yes you're good to go
