Hi, ive been looking at one of these launch tools for discovery sport, have you seen a relearn feature for the haldex pump, any help is appreciated, great informative video
I have not seen the haldex pump feature on my scanner but mine is equipped with gm software. So it’s totally different. You may want to email longhorn and ask them this question
@marioaraujo452 i dont see that feature on this scan tool. If you need that feature (Legally of course) then you may be interested in purchasing the scan tool I demo in this video link: ruclips.net/video/kJ47UMjgpLI/видео.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Yes it will. Once you scan the vehicle and the scanner asks you what options you have on the vehicle it will have a menu for e brake service mode for any vehicle equipped with it. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Yes it can. The WiFi is just used for updates or if you want to google the code that you get. The rest of the scanner can be used without though. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
You may want to email kingbolen and ask them. I’ve never worked on a Mercedes. This scan tool in the video is using GM software so it will have different features then the Mercedes scan software would. Unfortunately I am not sure what the Mercedes software will allow you to do.
They make a model dedicated to Mercedes. I hear the Mercedes and BMWs have a ton of control features and options. These are the go to tools for those cars.
That all depends on the Bluetooth scanner you are referring to. I have a bluedriver that says it scans all modules but it only scanned 5 codes. Then I plugged this one in and got 9 codes. This one will even tell you your tire sensor batteries are low. So it can definitely pull more codes and seems to look deeper into the modules perhaps. Some Bluetooth scanners only pull engine codes and not body codes. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Wow! This is a very nice scanner. I definitely need it to see what’s going on with my equinox
Yes this scanner is absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the investment.

Will it activate brake service mode for changing pads on newer GM trucks?
Yes it will. Once you scan the vehicle and the scanner asks you what options you have on the vehicle it will have a menu for e brake service mode for any vehicle equipped with it. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Can this be used without wifi access?
Yes it can. The WiFi is just used for updates or if you want to google the code that you get. The rest of the scanner can be used without though. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Does work with Mercedes? And can it reset a ECM/ fuel, injected programming after changing out fuel injectors?

This is the best ODB reader I've seen yet. When it reads the fault codes does it give more data than a Bluetooth ODB reader?
