Jon, you do realize that if you just pick up some of the herbs along the roads, you can make radaway and stimpacks at chem stations...right? Also, if you just pick up the weapons from the victims of your genocidal activities, then just put them down somewhere else, you get the ammo from the clip. He does know all of this and has acknowledged knowing it in previous series. He's also said that the reason he doesn't do much crafting is because it's time consuming work which doesn't produce any worthwhile content (while doing it at least) and the reason he doesn't get the free bullets is because he again doesn't want to spend a lot of time on inventory management and then, when he's short of bullets and probably should, forgets it's an option because he doesn't usually do it. Same as him being constantly short on caps despite it being so easy to farm them - farming them takes a lot of time and makes for poor content from a production perspective. Any substantial amount of that stuff has to be done off camera, and "off camera" is essentially "unpaid work" for him. It being a job and not a hobby changes how a lot of people play (not least because if it doesn't they tend not to grow their viewership as quickly or as well).
In any of the Fallout series it is irritating that he doesn't pick up all ammo just because it is light and valuable but Jon plays as he plays and we have fun pointing out his mistakes and griping about his playing style.
@@aecides3203 I understand the need to produce content.
