I was so delighted to see you choose the satisfying option to resolve the spilled cask. Some might think it a piddling little gesture; but as for myself, I feel that it really showers the whole interaction with gold.
Legend has it that when Lord Nelson died during the battle of Trafalgar, his body was covered in brandy to preserve it for the sail back to England. The sailors would go in to see his body and pay respects, and of course, drink some of the brandy. When the sailors realized the brandy level was getting low, they started to pee into the coffin to keep the levels up. And then other sailors would go in and request to “Shed a tear for Lord Nelson,” and the cycle would begin again.
In the version I heard, there was no coffin; they just put him in a cask of brandy (or rum in some tellings) outright. Nobody pissed in it, but when the cask was opened back in England it was found to be nearly empty due to sailors sneaking drinks out of it. (Of course, both versions of the story are apocryphal, but hey.)
The accepted version is that the barrel burst due to the gases building up in there. The idea that sailors would be allowed to view the body of their commander unsupervised is sort of absurd, when you stop and think about it.
Exactly my thoughts, and they were doubled when I saw the character and heard the voice. It could almost be Captain Sensible himself providing the voice. And don't forget he did have a fairly successful solo musical career. too.
Polly Ester is almost certainly a nod to Polly Styrene from X-Ray Specs Also a Malcolm who screwed over The Pistols? Malcolm McLaren probably. I'm really enjoying the classic era UK punk references
Malcolm Rhodes sounds like a mashup both of McLaren and Bernie Rhodes, a manager and producer of a number of punk and British new wave bands, most famously The Clash.
I really have to hand it to whoever wrote the background quips by the anarchist NPCs, theyre all really funny satire of legit anarchist behaviour. Refreshing agaisnt the stereotype of insane, mad max esque, lunatics theyre usually portrayed as.

When you start to realise characters, the Anarchists, well they are punks, the Pistols. I'm guessing Malcolm that snake dealing all sides is Malcolm McClaren. So you've got Alice who is Siouxsie Sioux of of the Banshees, and Captain Reasonable is clearly going to be Captain Sensible of the Damned. I guess Polly Ester is really Poly Styrene of X-ray Spex.
Anarchists are broadly incorrect, but in a way that's less incorrect than the rich wanks in charge now. They're mostly alright. I'll take less wrong any day, we don't get that choice in elections anymore.
There is something oddly hilarious about doing a number 1, in some old alcohol, making the posh people drink it and getting away with it. That last part probably makes it even better.
The thing about the Pistols is, they're not sinister. But they are limited. They have no greater plans to help London proper, or any further afield. They just intend to keep Camden chugging along. If they tried to grow larger, that's when you might start seeing corruption and problems like that take root. But as of right now, they're just going to be this small, semi-isolated community. Which in Fallout tends to either stay that way (rarely), expand and turn evil, or get steamrollered by some other more sinister society.
Exit through the gitft shop was the title of a BANKSY exhibition and movie :) I laughed hard at the guy bitten by a fox and then a dog story. really nice humour .
That's a fun and very clever end to the whiskey quest - first the dropping of the cask, then the fun options. They can't actually complain about the flavour, they saw the cask so know it's real, and who knows what 200+ year old whiskey would taste like? Really calling out pretentious wine dudes who buy hundreds of year old wine that would be vinegar by now.

So some, not all, but some of the unique weapons have legendary effects despite it only have flavour text where the effect would go. For example " she who dares" has instigating apparently. Some of the other uniques have a unique mod part (receiver, barrel etc) and others are just a unique skin or name.
I can't pretend to be even a basic Scots Gaelic speaker, but it does seem like the pronunciation of Abhainn is off (possibly more like Irish?) That said, I'm pretty sure it translates to something along the lines of "gold river" or similar, which, uh, certainly turned out to be the case.
It felt like a joke on Americans that somehow Abhainn òir is somehow pronounced as "Arrrr weer" Similar to how brits insist "Gaol" is pronounced as "Jail "
