The Crystal Palace maze is a real thing, got a feeling the in-game version is going to be nicer, keep an eye about the area for dinosaurs, the main things of note for the real Crystal Palace is the big TV transmitter, and the first recreation of what dinosaurs looked like by humans, at the point of their creation no full skeletons had been found, so guess how accurate they are from that, would recommend giving them a look in real life, even if there is not much else in the area.

You've put your finger exactly on one of the main issues I have with Fallout London, which is that their major factions get introduced too late. Sure, you'll see them wandering around the shop, see graffiti about them scrawled on walls, but you don't get a chance to talk to them until the game wants you to lock in a side. By the time you learn what they're fighting for, it's too late to switch sides. Compare that to New Vegas. In Goodsprings, you have characters talking about how the NCR is expansionist and bureaucratic and nobody asked THEM if they wanted to be NCR aligned, the NCR just showed up one day and said "you're ours now." You wander past Nipton, with its rows of burning houses and gangers on crosses, and a furry tells you about the purity of Legion justice. Cassidy talks about how yeah, women have a shit life in the Legion, but damn if their roads aren't safe. Everyone and their dog wants to tell you about how they feel about the factions, give you jobs working for factions, talk about the philosophical implications of each faction. And then, once you actually make it to Vegas and get the platinum chip, every faction says, in essence, "okay, tutorial over, reputation reset, wanna work for us?"
Thank you for sharing this! I am blown away by how good this game is, considering how it has come to be, and I'm appreciative of the love it's been getting in the comments, but to really appreciate something is to see it's flaws in addition to it's strengths. As a Brit, it was fairly obvious what each faction represented based upon the cultural associations that were on display. But it did produce a rather hilariously large number of posts on Reddit from non-Brits, who were obviously unaware of certain 'red flags' on the faction they had tied themselves to. Let's just say, if a faction likes order, has smart uniforms and seems to like using Lugers an awful lot, then they might harbour a few darker motivations.

One potential explanation for the lava pool is maybe a nuclear power plan meltdown? It was one of the things that was narrowly avoided at Chernobyl but if it did happen, it would have been even more apocalyptic as it would have seeped into the water basin nearby and basically made the Dnipro valley uninhabitable for millions of years
I'd argue the Minutemen are following a similar concept as these guys and Caesar's Legion. The actual Minutemen were not dogooders helping the people. The story was just a bit modern than the other two

There are other fire animals in the the fallout universe . In fallout three there the fire breathing ants for instance. Two dogs mutating to produce flames doesn't feel to out of left field in my book.
A silencer on a revolver wouldn't work as the chamber is exposed to the air which is were you'd hear the bang, not the end of the barrel so a couple of issues with the shotguns mods.
I don’t know (living this game though you Jon) However to me personally Camelot - should be good as I believe King Arthur and the Knights of the roundtable are good and meant to be like very good. So I recon Camelot will be old school but good. That’s my thought.
