This is currently my go-to main guitar. I’ve had quite a few 7 bangers in my clutches (LTD, Schecter, Ibanez) over the years but this is the one that plays and sounds the best to me. Awesome video!
Nice riffs man) What you think about fretboard radius(maybe too flat?) and overall build quality? How it really feels compare to korea made guitars(like Shecters)?
Thank you sir! Yeah I did forget to mention the 20” radius, but honestly it didn’t bother me like I thought it would. Because the neck is on the slightly thicker sides it makes your hand feel like the radius isn’t so extreme. Build quality is top rate as I might expect from PRS, and yes equal to my Schecters. I only have good things to say about instruments made in South Korea. Also I didn’t mention it but these are NOT SS frets as most Schecters that I tried do have.
Awesome, looks nice, sounds good and great that it's got the satin neck. Definitely agree how important the neck feel is. If it doesn't feel good, you just won't enjoy the guitar as much. Guessing it feels totally different to the Schecter C7? Locking tuners would be nice, but their standard ones hold tune really well (based on the guitar I have) so it would mainly be a convenience thing. Maybe they don't add locking as their PRS branded ones are ugly (looks like they have black plastic tips).
Yeah the PRS neck is much different than the Schecter. Not in a bad way, just thicker. I believe this one is 20.6mm thick just at the nut and gets thicker as you put move up. Plus this neck is 20” flat radius while the Schecter is 12-16” compound.

@@digital360 great point about the compound radius. I tend to like that feel. I've got a Jackson MIJ Dinky with the same radius and it's awesome.
@@iduncanw the charvel’s too have that same neck.
Hi, have you drop?
