There's something so melancholic about it, seeing the ruins and knowing the history, and the last recorded event being a wedding before it was abandoned really drives that peacefully sad atmosphere home.
I kinda wanna see places like Mexico or Japan in this series, specifically things such as urban legends and such (i love urban legends) but its ok if you don't, this comment will probably get drowned out tbh

This combination of Minecraft landscape art with real life biogeography, history and mythology is absolutely fantastic. Of course, making the maps yourself means you have a great deal of knowledge of the territory you're playing in (unlike Erik the Red, I suppose), but that doesn't make this series less fantastic. This clearly deserves much more popularity.

And I definitely do have that advantage over Erik the Red - I'm just now getting a build team to help me make maps but, either way, I still have to do a lot of research prior to recording. I always know the general locations of certain wonders due to my familiarity with the map, but I very much still get lost simply because of the size of these maps

They gave iceland that name because when they first arrived it was a lot of ice, after that they discovered Greenland which was also a lot of ice but also pretty green here and there. Also iceland is definitely not warm lol
I've been watching all of these recently and honestly they're very fun to watch, I like seeing a twist on the usual "I survive 100 days hardcore" trend in Minecraft. Could I ask do you think you will do one for Ancient Greece or places in Japan?

Hello again! I’m glad you liked this one - colder areas tend to by my favorites as well. As for the ships, that all just depends on the mods available but I could also craft them with the mod I use. Depends on the location/style. The Qivittoq probably would’ve ended the video early if I tried to fight it anymore lol, maybe I should’ve tried more projectiles though. A neat idea for another video would be to do, politics aside, Russia as its one of the most geographically stunning countries and the largest. You could start on the westernmost point and attempt to cross Siberia till you reach the Bering straight.
