Always fancied having a go at wood turning but the mess puts me off😅
You seem to know more about unusal sexual practices than lathes ; this should be a fun series to watch as you are speaking my language.
There is an old chap on RUclips called Richard Raffin and he does some great wood turning tutorials. They're very easy to watch and it is strangely meditative to watch someone turning wood. Good luck with your new toy.

Ye I took it off completely mate, I won't use it really anyway.
How do you find the lathe mate I'm looking at a axminster one currently but I've never turned anything in my life lol.

I'm yet to really test it mate so I'll hold off on the advice until then. I'll be using it lots running up to Christmas hopefully.
I didn't get a real good look at the box of chisels you were sent but they look like the same set I bought when I first started turning. Best advice is chuck 'em out unused. I can loan you a few good chisels to get you started if you like. I'm only down the road so no problem. 👍

@@karlpopewoodcraft never change pal! Can a pick your brains or at some point in the near future can u do a video on pricing commission work. I've just finished that first one potentially got another one similar but the price of the first one was far far to cheap I can email u the photos if u send me your email I'll see what u reckon and can talk more there. It's now question do a increase by how much and because it's such a small town and going another pub restaurant have they chatted etc etc.
