People can keep their open floor plan, no character homes with boring ceilings and drab and plain walls. Who cares if you have marble all over if you dont have some flair with it? Teresa, I am on disability and building a mini mansion from my childhood home I got at tax auction for $1,230. Come over to my channel in a few weeks and watch 'She thought she could, so she did.' Series. I take you through what I have and how to redo it without much skill and little help. It is possible to have a beautiful useful place to live, Just the right size and all. I am also putting in a swim pond with water falls too in the back. I get $771. a month and $600. from another place. The taxes are only $345. yr. I have to rebuild a lot of it as the water damage took away the kitchen and the floor some of the ceiling. But it is doable. Come over and watch how the poor can do it.
My health is bad with Fibromyalgia and being 61. I do have my son's who help and a few friends who can somewhat. I just take it one day at a time.

You are correct. All this here is an illusion. It is not real. Created with an artificial holographic simulator The AHS. Everything here is. We just persieve it to be solid, but it isn't really. I am rebuilding my childhood home and the joy I get from putting my own hands on it is a great thing. It is like an empty canvas. You can't say that for those who are wealthy and do not have any part in the construction of such a place. It is possible to build on a lower scale a home like this one.
My home is much more cozy and interesting looking on the outside than this one. I will have faux stained glass in the walls too. Being an artist you have great possibilities to create your own palace and paradise which I am doing on a small scale.

Folks, this is another way of living...this home is breathtakingly beautiful just on it's own merit..It is thoroughly French and regal..just appreciate is design, character, and French authenticity...it's opulent, not ugly..hope the owners enjoy their French palace on the ocean..just beautiful and would be worth every dollar..it took 10 years to build; consider that when offering criticism...and in America anyone can attain this..everyone has equal opportunity..

What an incredible home! I am not sure if I would buy this home for $160 million or if I would buy an actual palace or Chateau in Europe and renovate it, though the modern touches, like the incredible kitchen and wonderful fish tank with the TV set in the middle of it would be out of place in a building like that, or you would have to damage or obscure parts of the original building....so this seems like the more reasonable alternative for someone with that sort of money.

Yeah the seller was dreaming when he listed it for 159 million he settled for 43 million after auction. I live 5 minutes away from that house and I’m very familiar with it. The owner was the founder of the Middlesex company.
