Real estate designer/developer Joseph Leone today announces that chateau Le Palais Royal Mansion located on Florida’s Hillsboro Beach will offer several new enhancements fit for royalty. Le Palais Royal sits between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway totaling about four acres, and is currently priced at $159 million.

i dont get how people dont like this, the amount of detail and precious materials, the land, everything its a work of art.
The estate is an absolute work of art. The location is so completely unsecured. It's ridiculous. 160 MILLION dollars and you can high five your neighbor while he is still in his house ? Anyone can walk right up and kidnap your children. This palace belongs on 1,000 acres with 50 foot walls.

This house completely matches with my expectation.
If I am not mistaken, that's the house from Hillsboro Beach Florida, told it was built on spec, but ended up empty for years, before being sold for a third of the asking price. or something like that.
It was approximately a quarter of the starting price, 42M$

Craftsmanship in the interior is very good but true palaces have much higher ceilings that give them a feeling of grandeur. Proportions are out throughout the whole building and the architecture of exterior looks tacky

It's actually not a bad design, but needs toning down, removing some of the gilding and aging the rest. The chandeliers are stunning. With the right furnishing it would be an amazing place.
Im wondering if the 'model' spent as much on lip fillers as was spent on the gilding.

Too much white, stone and gilding. The house seems cold and lifeless, lacking any warmth or hominess. Even if I could afford it, no way on earth would dump $159M on that. But that's the thing with these huge, cheesy mansions. Some ultra rich idiot has them built and then a year later doesn't like it and wants to sell it. Then you have this massive... thing... that was custom built for one person that really doesn't appeal to anyone else. Good luck trying to sell that joint.
