This movie has one of the best depictions of Batman I've ever seen in any movie or show or game or comic. Every action, every line, every moment is perfect. He's cool, he's calm, he's level-headed. He takes things seriously, but isn't brooding. He's a loner, but still knows how to work with others. He doesn't talk much, but when he does it's direct and to the point. He's one of the smartest and most dangerous humans on the planet, but he still gets his ass kicked by Superman (as he should). Can we talk about that scene? It's probably my favourite moment in the entire movie. There has never been a better depiction of a one on one Batman/Superman fight than the one in this movie. He's clearly researched Superman, but unlike in many interpretations where prep time basically means that Batman can do anything and beat anyone, here he throws everything he's got at Superman and it's all for nothing. As a Batman fan, there's nothing I love more than watching him get his ass kicked. Because he's just a guy. Of course there's nothing he can do in a fist fight with Superman. That's why he resolves the situation by using his brain. Because he knows he can't win. That's what makes Batman interesting. Not because he can win any fight, but because he knows which ones he can and which ones he can't. I just think that's so much more interesting than most interpretations of Batman as this overpowered, all-seeing god. He's just a man, that's his whole appeal. Oh my god, I did not mean for this to be so long. Sorry for the rant. I do want to mention one last thing, and that's the voice actor. Jason O'Mara is so underrated as Batman. He doesn't have Kevin Conroy's deep, smooth base. Nor does he bark and growl like Christian Bale. He sounds completely unique among other Batman voices. He just sounds like a nerd who's kind of adding a bit of gravelliness to his voice. He's not very intimidating, but he doesn't have to be. He's more comfortable lurking in the darkness. I just love everything about this Batman and I wish more people talked about him.

I personally I have the comic this is based off. The comic is almost word for word as the comic except instead of Shazam its Aquaman. Fun fact this movie came before the Justice League live action movie
Hal (Green Lantern) can definitely be cocky, but that's partially necessary for him. His ring is controlled by his willpower. He's confident and stubborn, sometimes to a fault. There's no question if he'll give a fight his all, that's all he ever does. Like when his arm was broken, he made a construct cast and charged back into the fray. It says a lot that Bruce comes to hold Hal in high regard.
Thanos lifted 5 planets, caught up with a shooting star, beat silver surfer, dr strange, warrior madness powered stone amped thor, hulk, busted the avengers, the annihilators, walked out of a black hole and survived a bomb made by the living tribunal, tanked Odin and Galactus who're higher than the avatars and survived his son who was amped by the phoenix force. Thanos would change Darkseid's diapers and then tells him to go to sleep.
@@eivor3975 thanos needed a gauntlet to call himself a god. Darkseid was already a god. Darkseid would absolutely mop the floor with thanos. You say these accomplishments as if darkseid couldn’t accomplish them. Darkseid is immortal and exists across a multiverse while thanos is mortal and exists in one universe. They’re not on the same argument when we speak of true power and you should never ever question the lord god of apokolips.
Batman has a history of not getting along with Green Lantern... especially Hal Jordan. Also once he knocked out Guy Gardner (another Green Lantern) with one punch
Krystal I get your new to the superhero stuff but no one really associates cyborg with the Justice league. I know in recent years they’ve been trying to push him into it(only because they needed a black character, don’t know why they abandoned John Stewart) but in fans eyes he’s a Teen Titan
The justice league throughout the comics involved a revolving door of heroes who join and leave. They even expanded the size of the league to have more heroes.
Leaving Aquaman out of this film is such a tragedy. He has so many cool scenes in the comics. Sharks jumping out of the water to eat the demons, and stabbing Darkseid in the eye with his trident.
Dang that was freaking good reaction and well cut too You had me laughing with your commentary like the Mr steal your girl lmao. And glad to know your planning on watching the rest. This deserve a suscribe
These animated movies are closer to comic Canon than ZSJL. ALSO this movie had a post credit scene that sets up throne of Atlantis. Although son of Batman isn't a bad next watch
I was waiting for this movie. It was such a strong start to the while thing and it has such a tight, economical script. Everything's gets it's time to breath and everything that needs to be explained does and everything we should know is left alone. No batman origin, no superman origin, but cyborg and everyone else gets their time to get acquainted with the audience. Also about Flashpoint. So flash did put everything back but it didnt go back the same way. It's basically a reboot and now we get to see everything get started and how things are different. So the justice league team from Flashpoint dont count for this. The events just created this timeline Also about Shazam, so he has been on the Justice League as have most heroes at one point or another. Also you were asking what his real name was. Its Billy Batson. Hes great. I know he doesnt seem it because when the New 52 launched he was one of the characters who had their personality changed a good amount. He used to be so much nicer. You should check out Superman/Shazam: return of Black Adam to see the likeable/ cute version of Billy. This movie is pretty accurate to the comics. The main difference was that Aquaman was originally there but they cut him so they could introduce him properly later

Green Lantern is so funny, too bad they fucked up with the live action movie because Ryan Reynolds is definitely the right guy for the role, i love DC animated movie so much
Snyder’s version took a bit of inspiration from this storyline in the new 52. Cyborg and Shazam were never founding members of the League, Cyborg is more relevant in these story’s because of his mother box connection. Personally I’d need to trade Hal for John, Cyborg for Martian Manhunter, and Shazam for Aquaman.😂
This movies takes place AFTER flashpoint it’s the new origin of the justice league in this timeline Barry created after getting everything back together
Krystal this takes place after Flashpoint. Because Barry rebooted the DC Universe when he fixed the timeline, leading to this one. Also retcons. It’s complicated tbh
The football cadence that Cyborg is going through makes perfect sense if you are on a football team.. They are single words to make sure that every player on your team knows where they are supposed to go once the ball is snapped.. The QB can't just scream out #80 go ten yards then cut left. If he did that then he would be telling the defense the play. This would of course make it much easier to stop. So instead the QB would says something like: " McDonald blue round black 17.. While being jibberish to the defense and most fans. What it would mean is #80 go ten yards and cut left, running back block the defensive end etc. Then after going throw all of that he says hut...hut. Then the ball is snapped and the play is run. And that concludes the football lesson for the evening...lol
Ice cream is the first thing Wonder Woman tried upon arrival, it also happened in the live action film and this currently airing animated show dc Superhero girls. Its really synonymous to the character at this point.
My favourite moment of that movie: Green Lantern *"I saved the day."* Batman *"You mean you botched my very simple directives and Wonder Woman led the charge?"*
@20:29 What kind of Eye beams? Omega Beams. His powers are pretty complicated the most simple use is to disintegrate someone but it can also manipulate and transmute matter and rematerialize them through time and space in this endless death trap called the Omega sanction reliving your death and torture over and over again, a living hell. Generally unavoidable unless your Superman or the Flash.
You have to watch the Batman movies that come after this as well like Son Of Batman,Batman vs Robin,Batman Bad Blood,Justice League vs Teen Titans,Teen Titans:The Judas Contract,Justice League Dark,Death Of SuperMan,Reign Of SuperMan,Justice League Dark:Apokolips War.And the next movie after this is going to be Justice League:Throne Of Atlantis.Wonder Woman:Bloodlines which is between some of the other movies too.And Batman:Hush because it features Catwoman and most of Batman’s rogue gallery.
10:30 Actually the Flashpoint Paradox is before this. Flashpoint Paradox had an after-credits scene leading into Justice League War. It was basically Parademons coming out the Apokolips Portal. And notice after Flash reset the timeline, him and Batman's costumes are different. Batman's costume is black instead of blue and Flash has more lightning designs on his. This is a signal to know that he created the New 52 universe
4:34 Oh Krysta you'll be excited to know there's actually a direct to video DC movie where Batman is a vampire. And it's my favorite of the DC direct to video films. It's called "Justice League: Gods and Monsters" and takes place in an alternate universe where Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are different identities. So not Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, or Diana. It's one of my favorite versions of Superman as a Mexican-American especially because us Mexicans have joked for years about "America's favorite superhero is an illegal alien".
Was always weird to me how they swapped Aquaman with Shazam in this movie because the comic its based on Justice Leauge: Origin, Aquaman is such a badass and even stabs Darkseid in the eye.
There are some animated movies which are standalone and not part of this universe . Batman Gotham by gaslight and superman red son are two of them . Also fun fact there is a animated movie batman assualt on Arkham which takes place in the same universe as the batman Arkham games.
Yea assault on arkham kinda exist in weird space in this continuity cause originally they meant it to just be connected to Arkham games continuity but then in sequal SS:hell to pay, its same characters but also ties into the continuity of the rest of the animated movies by referencing flashpoint, so it kind of teeters line of existing in both continuities lol
Shazam isn't conventionally a founding member of the Justice League. In the comic this film is based on, the seventh member of the Justice League is Aquaman. The makers of this movie wanted the sequel to introduce Aquaman, so they gave his spot on the team to Shazam instead (personally I'm more of a Martian Manhunter guy myself, but I wasn't in charge of making the movie).
Keeping it simple , first there was the Classic DC universe then the Flash changed things creating the Flashpoint universe then the Flash tried to fix what he messed up but because of unknown reasons instead of the Classic universe everyone is now in the New 52 universe and now no one remembers the Classic universe not even the Flash so they are kinda just starting over again but different.
In this movie Krysta, Green Lantern and Shazam were funny as crap, and Batman was too, when Green Lantern said that he can do anything and Batman said except Shut up apparently, that's what got me right there.
Most recent JL permutations seem to include Superman Wonder Woman, Batman, the Flash, one of the Green Lantern's, plus two or three more out of the following: Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Aquaman, a Hawk person, or Shazam.
5:35- Can't stand Silas Stone. Why couldn't you just go to one of Victor's games. Why can't you just be a dad for once. 6:00- Woooow, you suck. 11:04- You don't deserve Victor.
The Flashpoint movie is before this movie because what Barry did by travelling through time changed everything, created a new timeline and what you're seeing now with Justice League: WAR going forward until Justice League: Apocalypses War is that new timeline.
FlashPoint totally reset the timeline which is why they don`t know each other. It gets reset again in Justice League : Apokolips War. Darkseid was the inspiration for Thanos. Darkseid was created in 1970 & Thanos was created in 1973 .
The flashpoint paradox was the original timeline but when Barry changed things back, it was never the same, so the new 52 universe was created from Flashpoint. When you reached the last movie , in the end, the rebirth universe starts.
Honestly, Superman and Wonder Woman's relationship is surprisingly very wholesome, and those cowards we call writers were too afraid to go further with it because it "messes up the status quo". Like, seriously, this is an alternate universe, go nuts.
Green Lantern is arrogant and that's exactly his problem, because the lantern rings are so powerful he thinks that immediately makes him just as powerful, when power for lanterns is earned not given, Hal Jordan has only recently acquired his ring and so thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread, but as Superman expertly demonstrates, he's not even close
Okay so basically, after Flashpoint, it's a reboot. I mean that in a way, Justice League War is kinda like the new past that was created after that. So the ending of Flashpoint takesplace in this timeline, just later, when they've all already met. I know, it's pretty confusing and it's hard to explain
Funniest scene from this movie is always gonna be when green lantern tries to rush darkseid gets smacked into a wall falls and gets jumped by 2 para demons
ZSJL was basically a reproduction of this story (the formation of the Justice league in the new 52 comic series), with all the levity and character surgically removed. Just add in an emotionally hollow death of Superman aftermath, and a pretty lacklustre Injustice set up.
This is why darkseid is one of my favorite, and one of the most powerful villains of all time, like you need the whole team to attack him at the same time, and plus he could die, is just is not easy to kill him tho.

Injustice (2021)
is the last list connected to eachother?
@@gogopudding6602 no the last list are a mix of anthology stories
justice league vs the fatal five is apart of the justice league cartoon continuity not this series of movies
@@dutch0201 ok thx!
Batman Assault on Arkham ain't connected only the other Animated Suicide Squad
I personally I have the comic this is based off. The comic is almost word for word as the comic except instead of Shazam its Aquaman. Fun fact this movie came before the Justice League live action movie
Hal (Green Lantern) can definitely be cocky, but that's partially necessary for him. His ring is controlled by his willpower. He's confident and stubborn, sometimes to a fault. There's no question if he'll give a fight his all, that's all he ever does. Like when his arm was broken, he made a construct cast and charged back into the fray. It says a lot that Bruce comes to hold Hal in high regard.
Desaad: “Nothing can stop it”
Krysta: “Something gotta be able to stop it”
Me: Krysta too funny, literally the opposite of what he said😂
This is the only way you can see a version of the real DARKSIDE trust me DARKSIDE is way way worse than THANOS
It's true & the things he did in the last DCA movie made me cry. No Joke.
@@blackfoxx-wz5nq yup but what also made me cry just now was how this guy spelt his name. it's darkseid not darkside. :'(
@@SupaFonzy auto correct
Fun fact:
Darkseid isn't really even there
And is more powerful than we have ever seen
He has been drastically watered down
Batman has a history of not getting along with Green Lantern... especially Hal Jordan. Also once he knocked out Guy Gardner (another Green Lantern) with one punch
LMAO the scene where GL tries to punch Darkseid and proceeds to get punched by parademons always gets me
"Don't bring up the parents thing" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Krystal I get your new to the superhero stuff but no one really associates cyborg with the Justice league. I know in recent years they’ve been trying to push him into it(only because they needed a black character, don’t know why they abandoned John Stewart) but in fans eyes he’s a Teen Titan
The justice league throughout the comics involved a revolving door of heroes who join and leave. They even expanded the size of the league to have more heroes.
“Well for one thing, the water’s on fire.” This absolutely slated me. 😂
Loved it. 👊
Watch the post credit scene to flash point and you will know the timeline
Leaving Aquaman out of this film is such a tragedy. He has so many cool scenes in the comics. Sharks jumping out of the water to eat the demons, and stabbing Darkseid in the eye with his trident.
Can’t wait for throne of Atlantis
That’s the only animated DC movie I personally don’t like
she speaks highly of cyborg's direct connection to apokolips technology and darkseid. if she only knew, if she only knew.
Dang that was freaking good reaction and well cut too
You had me laughing with your commentary like the
Mr steal your girl lmao.
And glad to know your planning on watching the rest.
This deserve a suscribe
The Virgin Snyder Cut vs. the Chad Justice League War
Seriously, THIS is how a DC team-up movie should go.
Krystal; It would be cool if Batman was a vampire
Justice League gods and monsters;*Ahem*
These animated movies are closer to comic Canon than ZSJL. ALSO this movie had a post credit scene that sets up throne of Atlantis. Although son of Batman isn't a bad next watch
“Darkseid messed with the wrong ones!”
Well that isn’t going to age well…
i will stay tuned 🤣
I love how Batman just name-dropped flipping SUPERMAN and didn't even flinch when Supes flew at him at near-sonic speeds.
The guy with the "busted face" is DeSaad. He was also in the Snyder Cut.
The events just created this timeline
Also about Shazam, so he has been on the Justice League as have most heroes at one point or another.
These are all the movies in order:
1.The Flashpoint paradox
2.Justice league: war
3.Throne of Atlantis
4.Son of Batman
5.Batman vs Robin
6.Batman: bad blood
7.Batman: The killing joke
8.Justice league dark
9.Justice league vs teen titans
10.Teen titans: Judas contract
11. Suicide Squad: hell play
12.Death of Superman
13.Constantine:city of demons
14.Reign of Supermen
15.Batman:hush
16.Wonder Woman: bloodlines
17.Justice league: Dark apokolips war
When she start naming random names as a play🤣😭😭 that shit adorable asl😩
Green Lantern is so funny, too bad they fucked up with the live action movie because Ryan Reynolds is definitely the right guy for the role, i love DC animated movie so much
Snyder’s version took a bit of inspiration from this storyline in the new 52. Cyborg and Shazam were never founding members of the League, Cyborg is more relevant in these story’s because of his mother box connection. Personally I’d need to trade Hal for John, Cyborg for Martian Manhunter, and Shazam for Aquaman.😂
Yh same and I would have loved to see hawkgirl
This movies takes place AFTER flashpoint it’s the new origin of the justice league in this timeline Barry created after getting everything back together
Krystal this takes place after Flashpoint. Because Barry rebooted the DC Universe when he fixed the timeline, leading to this one. Also retcons. It’s complicated tbh
They really jumped Darkseid 😭
I mean it's the only way to fuck the dude up😅
Darkside beating the justice league is one my favorite thing in this movie 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
My favourite moment of that movie:
Green Lantern *"I saved the day."*
Batman *"You mean you botched my very simple directives and Wonder Woman led the charge?"*
22:24 it’s the opening to a CW show
Awesome video! If you want an animated superhero movie suggestion, Batman: Assault on Arkham is a great movie and so much fun!
20:18- You know you bad when you show up to battle in a metal skirt and nobody say nothing.
6:38 lol yeah, they do talk in code so the other team doesn't know the play they are about to do
30:19 Hal Jordan; We beat Darkseid what else would happen
DC Universe: hold my villains bitch... Orom, Evil Supes, Brainiac, Anti-Monitor, Trigon...
This about to be a comedy 🤣 😂 💀
Interesting to know Thanos and Darkseid were created by Jack Kirby one of the comic book pioneers
Darkside:your finished flash
Flash:I can dodge anything :)
Darkside:*eye Lazer aimbot activated*

Actually the Flashpoint Paradox is before this.
"Honestly, I would hate having to pay taxes in these cities to man" LOL!! It is so true when it comes to the Justice League World.
SAME UNIVERSE OF ARKHAM GAMES OO
Yea assault on arkham kinda exist in weird space in this continuity cause originally they meant it to just be connected to Arkham games continuity but then in sequal SS:hell to pay, its same characters but also ties into the continuity of the rest of the animated movies by referencing flashpoint, so it kind of teeters line of existing in both continuities lol
You could say this is the core roster (and Aquaman). Please look into Young Justice animated series, it's just as epic and amazing as the DCAU.
Love that the father’s voice actor is the original cyborg from the teen Titans cartoon as well as aqualad from young justice
Awww you read my comment about new52🤗😅
In the comic this movie is based on, it’s not
Shazam that’s the last member of the team. It’s aquaman.
Imagine the retinal damage Darkseid has. He must have a really good eye doctor.
Batman is my all-time favorite superhero, but Green Lantern(Hal Jordan in particular, Jon Stewart isn't far behind) is probably my second favorite.
13:38 "Give him the option, Diana."
(Wonder Woman 1984 sweats in the corner)
In this movie Krysta, Green Lantern and Shazam were funny as crap, and Batman was too, when Green Lantern said that he can do anything and Batman said except Shut up apparently, that's what got me right there.
I like how Cyborg blames his father like his father is the one that took the mother box Out of that machine SMH
Most recent JL permutations seem to include Superman Wonder Woman, Batman, the Flash, one of the Green Lantern's, plus two or three more out of the following: Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Aquaman, a Hawk person, or Shazam.
How awesome it will be if WB allow snyder to make JL 2,3 so we will see An awesome live action Darkseid fights🔥❤️
Fun fact, 7 is to Harry Potter the same that 52 is to DC
5:35- Can't stand Silas Stone. Why couldn't you just go to one of Victor's games. Why can't you just be a dad for once. 6:00- Woooow, you suck. 11:04- You don't deserve Victor.
Do your thing girl. Glad you got a kick out of it.
The Flashpoint movie is before this movie because what Barry did by travelling through time changed everything, created a new timeline and what you're seeing now with Justice League: WAR going forward until Justice League: Apocalypses War is that new timeline.
Cyborg: "I'M SENSITIVE SHAZAM!!"
18:35
Shazam’s real name is Billy Baxon. I think thats how it’s spelled
Cyborg is like Iron Man but instead of his heart it’s everything besides his heart.
Notice how Superman needed everyone else’s help with darkseid … but yeah he’s “OP” 🤣🤣
Better than the live action movies. Yeah, I said it. Don’t @ me.
How can I @ you? I don't even know where you live.
Fun Fact: Aquaman was a founding member of the team instead of Shazam in the New 52 comics
Lol when he grabbed Superman by his cape, and throw him.
This movie should be called Justice League *Beginnings*
The comic was called Justin League: Origin
Shazam is also a member of the Justice League Dark - members of the Justice League with mystical like powers
Fun fact: Billy Batson (Shazam) is voiced by Zach Callison, the voice actor of Steven Universe.
Funniest scene from this movie is always gonna be when green lantern tries to rush darkseid gets smacked into a wall falls and gets jumped by 2 para demons
I'm so excited to see her reaction to Damian!
