We bought three of the CHEAPEST Porsches on the internet. We want to find out it’s really possible to get the Porsche badge at a cut price. So we’re going to see what they’re like to drive, see how much power they have left and find out if they really do make us look rich.
Each car will be scored for every challenge we do today and there is a horrible punishment if you finish last. The loser of this challenge will be handing over their keys and driving our hideous new PT Cruiser for a week.

I’d love to see longer form videos in this format. The 3 hosts have great rapport and weird accents like a tv show we all used to watch.
I'd like to see the Dyno test after new filters and oil. It can help a lot!
And After the timingbelt has been adjusted on the 968.

Ever think to run a couple of cans of Seafoam through the engine before a dyno test? Two cans in your gas, one in your oil. Then a quick road trip, an oil change, and then a dyno test. No one ever seems to do this in a challenge video to improve their odds, and I can't fathom why

Cool stuff guys, enjoy the challenges, but I'd love to see a proper drag race instead of a quick 60-70 pull on the highway. Some timed challenges with some slaloms or a circuit race would be fun as well. I realize you don't have the full weight of the BBC to help fund things like that, but a little would be cool :)
This channel with their multiple series quickly became my absolute favorite to watch! They remind me so much of old Top Gear and I love it

You should’ve let us hear a full breakdown of all the issues each car had when you got them checked over
Drive them daily for 6 months and then have them checked over and see how much it would cost to make them right again.
And the cost of the repairs added to the cost of the car to get it's actual value. A regular person buying a car for £6000 would need to budget the repairs.

I had a 944 Turbo and later a Boxster S that I was able to use as a daily driver. I even drove the Boxster to go snowboarding, but did have to retract the roof to get my snowboard into the passenger seat. I've always wanted a 968 hardtop manual, but those are incredibly rare.

Wow Boxsters have really gone up in price. Used to be able to get an alright one for 4k, and a ropey one for 2k
They are more sought after now. More men reach their midlife crisis.
Most used car prices have gone up a lot, trying to find anything decent for under £4k is a struggle.
Yep people have started really waking up to them. RWD, great chassis, manual gearbox, NA flat 6 cyl, comfortable yet sporty. Plus its a convertible with tonne of storage space.
Its a more grown up version of the NA MX5. And we all know how the prices of those have gone.
I have a 987.2 Cayman myself. Its such a good all-rounder sports car.
Yeah definitely, i remember being able to pick them up for not even 3500 bucks. Now a half decent example goes for about 8000 euro.

I’ve had 2 955 Porsche Cayenne S v8 suvs in my life and I loved them both.solid suv made for any type of bad weather and can handle pretty well off-road and handle like a sports car on the turns.the only real disappointments for me about the first gen Cayenne is the gas mileage and it’s inherited Volkswagen/Audi electrical issues

Just so people know, VAG doesn't stand for "Volkswagen Audi Group", it's just Volkswagen AG (Aktiengesellschaft) which is the equivalent of like Volkswagen PLC
The 1st gen Cayenne is the best for sure...it is quickly becoming the GOAT of luxury offroaders. The 968 would be great for an 80 year old in Florida. The boxster is for young gay couples in Miami. The Cayenne is the only one with style and poise.
I've seen some really low budget TV shows and the odd movie recently, where they use an old Cayenne to try to show someone is very wealthy.
If you know your cars, you know the other characters generic but new run around cost a lot more 🤣

Nerd moment: the Cayenne/VAG thing is the other way 'round. VAG paid Porsche (handsomely) to develop that platform, so the Touareg and Q5 started life as variants of the Cayenne.
The "consulting" payment from VAG was so great, that it not only covered the R&D, but covered the cost of constructing the Leipzig plant (and its accompanying test track and "soft road" track) as well. There was an article about this in a Christophorus magazine quite some time ago, but I can't remember which issue. Anyhow, this meant that the first-generation Cayenne was basically a money-printer for Porsche, since each one's sale price just had to cover materials and labor (and not amortized R&D cost or factory tooling costs, as with most cars), and the rest was profit. The money from the Cayenne is what gave Porsche the funds to federalize the GT3 for the US for the first time and to turn the stillborn V10 racecar project into the Carrera GT road car.
funny thing it's not the first time - 914 (the predecessor of both 968 and boxter) - also was made in collaboration with VW

I owned a 2003 Porsche Cayenne S… best car I’ve ever owned! Bought the car used with 67k. Only had issues with control arms, fuel pump, and window roller mechanism. Drove it to 277k before getting my 16 Macan S. Macan is around $70 a month maintenance I highly recommend the Macan S it’s been a fantastic car so far! These cars get a lot of shade from those who don’t daily drive them… if you want any info on the older Cayenne or Macans I’d be happy to help :)

I drove one once, it was a loaner from a mechanic doing work on my car. People on the road were looking down on me so bad, I felt like a sub par human driving this !

Just start slow and work your way up to speed. Maybe Will or Callum can give you some driving lessons to better prepare you for this monster car/truck/vehicle thing. Hahaha
I just discovered your channel guy and I really liked your video, it reminded me a little bit about the old Top Gear. But the hate the Cayenne got is way too far. Its a great offroader and a car which without Porsche might would have gone bankrupt back in the day, so give it its credit!

Or maybe the drivetrain loss in all of them? Manufacturer's measure brake horsepower. This video measured wheel horsepower.

Not only are these guys ripping off Top Gear and Car Trek by making content that's almost exactly identical but now they're trying to sell us a "phantom wallet" which is obviously a bootleg of a ridge wallet which was the original... 😂😂😂 I swear these dudes are something else... 🙄
