Thank you kindly for this wonderful lecture, alot of knowledge and to think about. I'm very surprised that you use this word 'mythology' about our History of India, a word that was coined by the British about our Vedic Culture to demean it and undermine it
Thanks for the very engaging, informative and perceptive talk, Dr. Paranjape! Even as someone completely uninitiated, beyond what is depicted in popular culture, I can listen to you for hours. Thanks for your outreach efforts.

humans have NOT changed over at least last 8000 years 😂🤣 they still do the same stuff .. what is the proof that one varna was lower than the other during mahabharata ?
Furthermore not taking away from my appreciation of your scholarly knowledge of the subject matter I just wanted to address that my understanding of Mahabharata, Ramayan, the Puranas and epics is to stir our attraction and devotion to God, but your rendition here denies any sense of Divinity and those who did have a divine approach your responses seem to snuff that out, almost having an atheistic approach. Sure Draupadi can be born of fire, mantras can envoke many aspects which are of a more subtle understanding and consciousness. It seems things have been in a gross way, ignoring all subtleties and divine aspects.
