Sometimes the female panelists *actually* say something that makes the average comedy viewer take a step back, and admit it was funny. If you didn't find Sarah's bits funny, you're not the average comedy viewer, and you shouldn't gripe about someones efforts in their job, when you're not being paid to make people laugh.
Most of the female comics I've seen are like this: they'll make you laugh, but not consistently. There aren't many jobs that you're expected to do something, yet not always satisfy the requirements of what you're expected to do, and still get paid.
Ed Byrne's shopping forecast is so good. I love how he celebrates it afterwards 😆.
"...and news about that accident on the M62. A lorry full of high value Scrabble tiles has shed it's load. Police say that queues are likely!"
can we just talk about Hugh's face at 1:23
He was just practising for 3:03
Such a feel good show, hope it never ends
"Mime"
Straight out of the gate with a good one
On today's breakfast show, we're running a charity nudity marathon… only, you won't be able to tell.
“Wow, look at this!”
And up first on today’s show is something we haven’t heard ever on radio before, this is Black Sabbath with Iron Man
And a brand new track from Led Zeppelin; here's "Stairway to Heaven."
''hello and welcome to radio 1 im dj dave and i will be filling jo whiley's slot for a while erm i mean covering for her''
I never understood 3:11 can someone explain
leave me alone it's a call back to a joke made earlier in the show
It's about "Zorbas", a famous Greek song that starts in a slow tempo & gets faster & faster as it goes on...
I didn't get the Saga Radio joke. Please explain.
Its like a holiday agent for over 50s
It's a radio program for the elderly, i.e. hard of hearing so he has to say it again louder
A hideous car crash has occurred on the A354, it’s called Weymouth.
Mime..... enough said
You know, Sara says "mime", but in the 40s and 50s, one of the highest rated shows on radio in the US featured Edgar Bergen, who was a ventriloquist.
Yes, and we had Educating Archie back in the late 50s which was also a popular radio ventriloquist show in the UK.
Not sure you understand what a mime is.
@@charlesparker7719 Yes, I do. Mine, like ventrilloquism, doesn't really work that well on radio
"Ok, at the end of that round the points go to James, Sarah and Andy."
destiel is canon, this is the shipping forecast
The Saga radio one is one of the funniest jokes that has been told since Frankie Boyle left.
It's like Christmas when I find a new SWLTS.
What was that song
What was Andy doing at the end that got everyone else dancing? I must have missed something here...
How can there be a five-year-old clip of this that I haven't seen before?
What happened at the end there?
It was from a joke about Greek music in an earlier round of the show.
Hold 8
5 comedians and a muppet.

+LokkerG Personally I think Katherine Ryan is hilarious anytime she's on MTW. I think she's very consistent.
Oh for christ's sake. There are plenty of male comedians who are hit and miss too. Why make it a gender issue?
