I have mine the green pin drilled aggressive and I did 120 /1500/3000 grit to push it down lane and have more power. Because I bowl on the burn and it worked for a while but not now. It will hook a board and die for the rest of the game.
The problem with that ball and urethane in general is they deflect. You left several 10 pins. If it was a reactive ball it would have driven through and ended up somewhere between the 8 and 9. If you don't leave corner pins then they're okay as long as you don't mind playing straighter . Go back and watch this video which I'm sure you have. Even some of your strikes that are in the pocket are deflecting. They are consistent and reliable and some people can score high with them but there are reasons that scores have gone up tremendously since reactive resin
In the old days (I am a Gen X) these were the coolest balls to have. I had a red one first, in juniors, and then a black one then a blue Nail (these are like unicorns to find today) then a red pearl, then a blue pearl, then a blue (won a tournament with old blue), and finally a pink that basically was for house shot. All of this was bewteen 1988 and 1996. Sooo its super cool seeing the old school looking Hammers return. Question, why do you wear jeans to bowl, doesnt it affect your slide/knee bend at foul line?
I like your videos. Seems like a good ball except the two times you left the 5 pin, surprised the ball didn’t have the power to drive through and get it. While on the subject of the 5 pin, do you have any strategy to pick that up? For me if I throw a nice and easy strike ball it will always get the 5 pin spare, (that is important to get otherwise I have to buy a round lol). Just wondering, what is your ball speed? Definitely a good ball for your game. You will get a lot of haters out there when you bowl league with it but it is what it is. Good luck.

I think if you can use a Purple Hammer in your league, it's an advantage. There's a reason it's no longer PBA approved.
