A separate video from the day I went to Mansheya Nasir, Cairo's Garbage city with Moussa. The last video focused more on the garbage and waste management in garbage city while this video focuses on the other cool aspects like these massive pigeon tours. Gambling on pigeon races is apparently popular in Egypt! These pigeons need a home and someone to take care of them. The pigeon tour owner brought us up his tower and let us see his pigeons in training. Apparently there are pigeon turf wars here in Cairo as they will take each others pigeons and cut their wings off! Egypt is crazy!!

Just to clarify about the pigeon not going back they mean like they cut the wings off let him mate with one of his female pigeons and then when he has babies with her and falls in love with her when he flies again after his wings go back he would definitely not go back to his old home because now he got some buns he got with him lol we're just crazy uneducated people I apologize to you sir

The reason they cut the wings is, it won’t fly and by the time the wings grow back up, the Pigeon will get used to the location! Even if the wings grow back, the pigeon already spent time in the house so it won’t leave.

The fact he made you pay for the Koshari in the beginning of the video bothered me. You're a guest in his country and he's showing you around and says you should pay lol. In Iraq, you'd never be allowed or able to pay as a guest
This was my least favorite guide, he came off looking like a jerk to me anyway
@@tracythethriftygroomer6091 the guide showed him some very closed off and unusual places, let him on invaluable information and made it possible to enter places he wouldn't otherwise be able to enter or traverse. It was probably a deal they agreed on, the tour shows him around, he pays for the food.

Great video man, I have subscribed. I have never seen a video like this on Egypt, well done! The tour guide was a bit of a douche when it came to the food stall, in Arabic culture it is customary to be welcoming to guests so at the very least he should pay for his own food if not yours as well.
