@@Pcarwhisperer makes no sense why it shouldn't. shaving stick should be left in the bathroom.
There is another option for the PDK shifter-“PDK Shifter in Aluminum.” Taller, metal, leather trim. Not cheap but much better.
@@JuanAdam12 that's like getting Braun pro shaving stick. Lol. The shifter is not aesthetically pleasing to the eyes especially when the GT3 has a PDK shifter that looks like manual gearbox.
@@sxsw12 I’m not familiar with how the GT3 “shifter” works-does it allow side-to-side movement for up/down shifts, or is it just a handle with the same functionality as the Braun shaver? If the latter, then… IMO, it’s just as cheesy: something pretending to be something it isn’t.
Sold my 991.2 last year and waiting for the normally aspirated model. Will be interesting to see how this new model lays out compared with getting a 718 GTS 4.0.

@@turbokid99 I saw the gauge cluster for a 992.2 base Targa, guess what it had on there, a boost gauge by the oil pressure gauge

Over here in the UK 2024 model year comes with Dashcam wiring as standard. 992.2 will be hybrid so be prepared in April 2024 for another large price increase for the new tech.
New price increase on 911’s is insane and .2 hasn’t even came out yet. Around 15k more on a same model!? What was Porsche thinking 🤔 911 will not hold there value like it use to anymore! 140k for a base Carrera with 379hp is crazy.

I just bought a 992 GTS! I will be so pissed if they increase the HP on a 992.2

when will the 992.2 actually be released - that's what I would be interested in knowing...
The 992.2 will be released next year as a 2025 no official dates of as yet but I would expect the cars to start arriving late next year!

Any comments on what engines will be in the Carrera line? (Some are saying naturally aspirated 4 liter engines.)
That’s a rumor that is unfounded. I saw the electronic cluster on a 992.2 Targa that is still in test mule mode, and it had a boost gauge under the oil pressure gauge

Do you know if Porsche will keep the Areo kit package? I’m next in line for my allocation waiting for it to come through. But my dealer told me since I spec mine with one and when you go on the site their isn’t an option for the areo kit anymore that it’ll be a 50/50 if my Carrera S will come with it?
Great question! As of right now the Aerokit looks to be on a very large backordered delay. Unfortunately once your order is placed it could be kicked back because of this and may have to go without the aerokit 😔 Supply is ever changing but right now there is no availability.
Aero kit has been removed from the configuration here in the UAE

Doubling the Porsche Experience Delivery price is rape. Don't justify it.
It maybe isn't justified to many, but I'm on a 718 forum and there are people waiting for almost 2 months from when the car arrives in U.S. to get their experience in Atlanta because they are so backed up. They are having to comp things so people pick up at local dealer, etc. Supply/Demand is the name of the game and $2k balances that out I guess.
Too bad Aventurine exterior and especially Iceland interior gone. Unique, subtle and I predict timeless, particularly in combo. Porsche: please reconsider or replace in close-kind. Also, too bad the blue interior gone. Fond memories of the 70s/80s/90s, when all the Germans--including some SLs in our family--had the classic blue interiors, nice and classy alternative to the ubiquitous dour black.

Since I have a Tesla Model S PLAID, a Porsche is no deal for performance. Although I do have a 911 4S, it's now just time for full electric on the new ones.
