I am lucky and have NTN and 75 mm plastic and leather. I ski them all. Love the range of motion on 75 mm. Love the strength of NTN for going hard days. Love the challenge of leather.

maybe one of the reasons telemark feels good is because by going on tiptoes you lengthen the lever to put the ski on edge...high boots also help

Love my TX Pro x Outlaw X setup - now just need some snow out here in Vermont!

I got a pair of Tx Pros and they seem to be overkill when moving to NtN for backcountry use. I prefer a softer boot for touring and was able to get a pair of TX 3 buckle. Way better touring abilities with the TX. However I find I spend more time on my 75mm setups because my boots T4/T2 are lighter and softer flex and more ROM for longer tours.

Have Crispi EVOs with the Lynx binding and wondering how much softer the TX Pro would be on that binding. Like the stiffness when charging but wondering if slightly softer boot would be better overall as I also like backcountry and trees

I'm a fan of TX Pro for less effort in tight situations and usually modify my LYNX pre-load if I want a stiffer feel. You might like our playlist on the TX Pro here: ruclips.net/p/PLqq9cnX6DT7iaHZB_4DPGu98xt10RSmUG

What boot do you guys recommend to compliment the Meidjo?

Upgrading from my leather boots but want to stick with 75mm to keep my current quiver. Mostly ski groomed Midwest. Sound like TX Pro might be the ticket, how are the Scott voodoo? I know anything will make a big difference from my current boots just trying to figure out what will work the best.

Also have the TX Pro + Outlaw X set up. Seemed super stiff for first few outings so hoping the boot bellows softens up with more use. Anyone else have this issue?

Skiing a stiff NTN boot in walk mode is cool option too

@Miles Shaffer Yeah, sometimes I’ll ski my WC evos in walk mode when I want get more flex out of the boot. If it’s a deep day and I’m chasing alpine skiers, they’re locked.
