you are just a couple years younger than Paul! But it is amazing that you still like to get online. My paternal grandfather at 86 and my grandmother at 81 could only call others on their phone. Same goes for both of my maternal grandparents who are even younger.
Opening with the Ringo tracks is so cool. 😎 You can tell how easily he's sitting in the groove of the tune, doing his job, without making waves. George's classic guitar work is so lovely--it gives me the chills.
@@robbiepeterh But that's not the take at the end here, as that's an organ. The final solo is a piano piece. But yeah it made it sound like a harpsicord because it was sped up
George once made a guitar solo, but had trouble with it, so they tried deleting it. But they slightly failed, so you can hear the last note of the guitar ring out after the solo. This can be heard in the 2009 remaster.
Maybe you're talking about the ghost note here (8:42)? I didn't know that this song was supplemented by a single string like this. This ghost note is heard throughout the song, so it may be intentional.
So do you think that the guitar solo was part of the track featuring all that odd feedback and such? It does sound like someone with nothing else to do but wait for their solo.
One of my very favorites of theirs. I've listened to it hundreds of times and it still gets to me. Such magic and a wonderful composition and execution. Amazing.
The genius of Ringo is he would sit on drum stool while the lads worked out the structure of the song musically he would mentally be structuring his drum parts
Overall extremely great work, there are some debate for whether the guitars are fender or epiphone. But I actually did not feel the necessity to debate about it, as as long as the sound is good, what guitar was used does not matter.
At 80 years old this song always makes me cry. How a group of 20 year old kids from Liverpool wrote it is nothing short of astounding.

Ringo's drumming is so musical!!!!!!!
There’s not another band in history who I would listen to isolated tracks to. Only The Beatles because they are hands down the greatest of all time.
Love John’s gentle vocal vibrato.
Ringo’s time = immaculate!🥁❤️
He’s the human metronome
One of my 150 favorite Beatles' songs.
Thanks for this great post.

Paul's bass is heavenly
The backing vocals are spot on....
I think George Martin said in his book that he played the solo with the tape at half speed then sped it up to regular speed.
True, and by speeding it up double, the pitch goes up an octave and so that’s why it sounds like a harpsichord
Wish he hadn’t 🤢

You can clearly hear it if you play it with a sound editor at half speed.
amazing
SO PURE!

Cool info - thanks!

@@YK_Paul-Jno, it was the remains of an unsuccessful deletion of the guitar solo.

@@joelcrowservoyes, I’m sure of it. It does sound like someone waiting to play the guitar solo.
Sorry headphone users for the hard panning on the single-tracked vocals lol
That's Rubber Soul for you, the pre 1987 mix barely had anything panned to the center. Thanks for these awesome vids, sound quality is stellar.

That Rick photo is amazing. He's got a left handed body but a right handed neck, plus there's a capo on it!
Everytime I hear isolated background vocals it makes me feel I need to get better at my own harmonies omg
Keep up the great work.❤
Mental how they were all between the ages of 22 and 25 and writing songs like this
Amazing video and love how you do rhe drums.
That’s Ringo on the drums
This is the best song ever by the Beatles and the one that inspired the beach to make Pet Sounds.
Probably my favorite Beatle's track
I never saw John with a Strat before. I didn’t know he used one of this song
@AdamCharlton Yeah, him and George got them at the same time.
George and John had matching sonic blue strats they used for Nowhere Man. John wanted he high treble sound.
@@sammyday3341 I always preferred Daphne Blue (probably why I wasn't asked to join The Beatles...true story...)
Bro, how old are you really, sae age with the fab four?@@Jah_Rastafari_ORIG
@@hongjuanwu7539 Nah; I was 7 when Pepper came out... The Jackson 5 had a kid in the band though, so ya never know...

* George martin :piano
Sounds like "Anna (Go with him)"
Do u think u can seperate Paul and George’s vocal 😅
I was able to do it with nowhere man. There were tons of ai artifacts however, it was very neat to hear. I’ll have to try it with in my life.
The piano part was done by george martin.
Surely its an alternative organ solo?
Of course it is. And don't call me Shirley.
What are those guitar ghost notes?!?!
Is that John with the flat single notes..?
There's always lots of leakage on Beatles tracks because they were using cheap headphones better suited to military Morse Code radios.
Wheres the organ ??????
At the very end

Thanks. Heard it. Interesting. @@ferc778
