    So many hidden gems here. The piano part is not as intricate as the final track makes it seem. The acoustic guitar pseudo bass line has lots of nice flourishes. The real bass line is a lot more galloping that the final track seems to indicate. John spelling out H O M E is hilarious.

    Excellent work deconstructing this song. Shame we haven't heard any results from the July 8th session where they redid the song than the initial July 3-5 sessions

      It's from the rough mono mix given to Peter Sellers by Ringo. That tape includes early mixes of Back in the USSR, Blackbird, Ob-La-DI, Sexy Sadie, Me and My Monkey, Not Guilty, Goodnight, Mother Nature's Song, and Don't Pass Me By.
