Superb! Please bless us with a video compilation for speedpaint metallics and how to use the different types of metals and how to weather them 🙏🏿🙏🏿 Thanks for your amazing vids! 👍👍
Turned out awesome, as I mentioned on one of your other videos I’ve used speedpaints medium with satchel brown and used it on Ork/orc teeth over a slapchop white base and it looks awesome every time, for a extra pop I add a highlight of ushabti bone
Wow, those statues looked genuinely oxidized after that paint was applied. If I saw that IRL I would've thought you left your minis out in the sun too long!
Patina is the word you're looking for. Happens when it oxidizes. I've always had the same problem with metalics and used a liberal wash afterwords to make up for it. Will try this next time!
@@MiniatureHobbyist thanks again! Sure wish I had this info a few months ago when I tried to slapchop a silver dragon and ended up shadowing each scale since it didn't work out haha
I've used the medium ot thin down the regular speed paints but not the metallics. I'm glad to see it works so well. I'll have to try that myself real soon. Thanks for the tip!
Haha ill still with my £3 popper toy. I dread to think how much that green stuff world matt is. Nice freebie for you though guv ! Keep up the great work !
Man, this really looks as if the statue got covered with moss, really like that weathering effect!
Cheers bud, I always like it when its an easy process with great results 🙂
nice video, love the effect from the verdigris and the thinned speed paints, thumbs up.

Im very glad it works so well and will be trying it with the gold and silver next 🙂
This is amazing...
I'd been using the silver and putting another speed paint over the top
All I needed was to thin it down
Yup its crazy that I never thought of it before as its worked out really well 🙂
