I watched the race, saw it live, and wow, it wasn't pleasant to see. And something like 10-5 minutes after the race restarted, another girl, an austrian, Schneeberger also screamed a lot and also broke her leg. By far the most violent race of the season, and I followed them all.
ya I just don't get it why wouldn't the skies released bro... I know they as athletes always set the Pin high but they should be able to protect their legs/knees under severe crashes just like this one
@@LeonX29 No it's the dins. There's a certain amount of force required to pop off ski and professional skiers put them all the way out so it doesn't come off while they're skiing. That's why ski crashes are so bad especially in speed events.
Oh she will definitely recover, reports have said that she’s ready in 6 months, they’re doing an operation on the leg right now, if the knee is very damaged though, it will take longer, that’s yet unknown
In comparison to Aksel’s Kitzbühel crash they took quite some time yes, but then we can look at an old clip of a staff member sliding down the slope at high speeds because of how steep it is and the course is very much ice, slippery and hard to walk over, an injured medical staff is useless

Something went wrong with the bindings, they didn’t receive the certain pressure and angle they required to go off, incredibly unlucky
