I only laugh cause I sent the lake chutes in a tomahawk at Breckenridge you just can’t stop when that rotation starts and you can’t really feel it cause it’s so fast 🤣
@@alechager6014 my best effort was after hitting the small drop at the super narrow exit of Philipe's at Mammoth, I think I only got about 5 or 6 laid out back headsprings though

the last two were crazy....#2 I can't believe he started skiing again after ricocheting off rocks, and #1 could have went horribly wrong if the timing of his rotations had been slightly different going over the edge of that last cliff...he kicked the shit outta that rock with his boot
skiers and mountainbikers and (and many more); i just tumbled down a whole mountain and im okay. Football (soccer for americans) i just fell 3 meters and im about to die.
Anyone who's tomahawked before knows how disorientating and scary it can be. Although the biggest I've done is a 4-flip one, but Jesus its gnarly. You end up spinning so fast so quickly that you can't pull your legs or arms in so you are just fully stretched out while barrelling down a mountain.
Yes, but as you tumble end-over-end, centrifugal force pushes have your feces into your heels, the other half into your brain . . . and Donald Trump is born! :D
I don't know why i find this so incredibly funny. Wonder what it feels like. Is there so many G's going on that the body just stays straight? Bodies flying through the air with no control have always made me giggle for some reason and i feel bad about it.(Could be totally harmless actions like zip line over water and person hitting the stopper and starts flipping in the air :D )
@@robociock Hehe, sry. I'm not sure if my message came across proper or if this is an attempt of irony. By straight i didn't mean the path he took but more that the body is stretched out while spinning. I'm not so good with words ^^
@@Luftbubblan It feels how it looks, like you're cartwheeling insanely fast over and over again. You feel pretty weightless though and the impact isn't bad in that kind of snow, It's almost like you're skimming across the surface. You just get super dizzy and all the blood rushes to your head. As long as you don't smack into any rocks/trees it probably won't even hurt. Speaking from experience, had a few tomahawks on steep backcountry runs. Not as bad as the ones at the end of the video, but one was almost as bad as #10. Didn't hurt at all, would have been fun if I wasn't scared about hitting rocks or going off a cliff below. You're spinning way too fast to see anything.
А номер два такой уже внизу на интервьюхе, Сэм, где вы ошиблись, что совершили падение? Какое падение? Ну вы же упали? А вы про это, нет, я не падал, это я так задумал.
I was listening to JT Holmes on Cleared Hot podcast today talking about his crash, insane! There is a lot of distance being covered during one of these falls!
Me: hitting a finger on my foot on the corner of a bed: can't breath for half an hour because of the pain. Them: flying a hundred meters from a cliff, hitting trees and rocks: I am ok! - continuing skiing farther.
I love how fast it goes from intense skiing to extreme cartwheeling
Good
This was the best fail compilaition ive ever saw cause i saw directly that the people were ok
They are actually all dead. Those moments look they were ok are from previous crashes.
That exactly what i was thinking at the end :) sometime I had a feeling they are even enjoying some of the fails :D

hahahaaha💀✋
Weld them on!!!
Aka do you want instant ACL tear settings or spiral fracture settings...
Ahaha he wants dins set to tomahawk settings
I was wondering if they all practiced gymnastics.
LMAOO
Especially this boi 1:45
Probably. I did gymnastics as part of my alpine skiing training from I was like 10 and I wasn’t taking the sport super seriously.
for me it just automatically happens no gymnastics
😂😂😂
2:47 the recovery was mad
I know right, how did he even do that
sam the goat after candide
Dude - I think that was the trick
Came out of that like he was James Bond lol
He probably had skis welded to the boots
Seeing this make me sad about how Michael Schumacher got unlucky...
totally..
I thought the same thing!!
He was a legend in formula 1 history. Hope he gets better.
@alex he got into a skiing accident and fell into a coma. It’s very sad.

2:56 Amazing cartwheeling skills.
can't stop laughing at that part.

Not really its diving to gain an advantage
@@harrydeverilllikesituptheb671 Not really, they are diving because they are lame..
dude, soccer is way more dangerous, one bump and you need to go to ER
fr. I do all three of those sports and skiing is the only sport where I can do almost anything and not get hurt.
We can observe great fliping techniques at : 0:12 - 1:10 - 1:45 - 2:17 - 2:55
Why did I laugh.? Like I ski and I know how much it hurts just to summersault down a ski hill.

I have never seen that amount of flips. I’m like damn he’s still rolling. And then, yeah all good no problem

do get conciousness when you spin down the whole mountain?

Those cartwheels and the music really worked well together and made me laugh🤣🤣, especially 2:56 onwards
all those cartwheels go so well with the music
This is the best crashing video i've ever seen! I'm gonna definantly like, and subscribe.
they rotate so damn funny
At 2:44 the commentator whispers "that was bad as fuck" i think no one expected that insane recovery

I know they say its safer to do that, but how tf is ragdoll rolling down the hill better than tucking into a ball.
I really miss skiing 😞 They shut down the stations here in France cause of Corona-Virus
pareil
same. been hiking up just to get any snow and whatever powder is left here
Yeah virus loves the cold and snow, and can go over 200 kph.
Man that cartwheeling has got to decompress your spine! I'm sure they felt taller afterwards.
Why did sams bindings not open??
I love that dudes din is set so high skis never popped off and eventually recovers and skis away

It's tomahawk season
at least its powder. a crash in a small jump in the park could honestly be worse, cause its hard packed snow

I think even though it’s cool, when you only show the times people have crashed, it doesn’t make them look very good at skiing or snowboarding
