Also I'm not judging you or anything, cus this is freakin awesome, but I do think its a little funny that you didn't need a reference to draw yoko but you needed a reference to draw your own character lol, but I love it and it turned out amazing :)

I can never understand how people just know where to put shadows, whenever I do it it just looks like a light source exists and doesn't simultaneously

AGGH Cadaver and Yoko!!! A speed paint of 2 of my favorite animators!! I can't get over how Yoko looks in your artstyle! This is so cool, and so impressive. I still have no idea how you do those shadows and light effects, but you're always gonna be a huge inspiration to me! Please keep up the amazing work, I especially freaked out when I saw your latest animation Phenomenon. It was perfect 😍😍😍😍😍💜💜 but yea this is awesome, please keep making amazing pieces!

One question: when they are coloring Yoko, why suddenly wingedwolf make the color gray again? Like, they are just using it to shade? And also, how they do this lighting effects? There is so much that I need to learn about Krita, I know just a few things

Typically when people color then changes it to black and white, they are trying to make sure the values are correct when it comes to shading! If the values are too close together, the piece can seem flat :) At least that's my knowledge of it!
@@jessking3662 Thank you!! But how i can do this? Like, I create a new layer that have this thing or something like that? And after I shade, what i do with this layer? Just reduce the opacity?
@@powaaaah897 it depends on what program you use, but most have an edit or 'fx' tool in which you can adjust the colouring, and turn it monochrome

You know it seems to quite comfortable being Cadevar. Because he's isn't extended it just a mask that becomes part of the face. (That's how I see it and feel like it's comfortable)
