Hello everyone! I hope you've been well!
This commission took me so much longer than I thought it would, besides the fact I've been feeling extremely burnt out lately... Though, I'm finally feeling a bit better and able to make art again. :)
In the end, I'm very happy with the result! I don't have much more inspiration for a description, but I hope to upload more for you all soon - I'm trying my best to finish the animation meme before the end of the month🫶

Here’s a story I wrote about this amazing art:
Changelings are thought to be one of the most dangerous creatures in the Equestrian world. Their existence of illusion and deceit reigning high above those that have the ability of mimicry. From day to day feeding of a drone, to the mass harvest for their Queen, their tactics for survival and the thrill of the hunt are ones so clever, one would never know to either praise or fear a changeling’s cunning.
Common practices the common folk know of are their shapeshifting disguises and their diet consisted of draining emotions like a leeching parasite. But one thing of legend and far from understanding is the power of a compound known as “Royal Bile”.
According to past victims of a changeling abduction, this green ooze is what infiltrates the body and mind while one’s incased inside a cocooned state. It acts as an adhesive for the capsule to hang and build around the environment and contains a neurotoxin with a potency only high enough to incubate the creature inside into a light form of comatose.
With this, we can only assume that the Queen’s venom is much stronger and more powerful, but finding samples to study are extremely rare and difficult to obtain. Many brave souls have dared to search for a hive to find this compound, leaving only the result of the hunt behind for others to see as a warning: a body, limp and drained of their emotions and magic.
Their throats and mouth glows a deep magenta, the last of its toxic fumes wafting in the wind and residue singeing the soil below. It is a changeling Queen’s final gift to her meal: a sealed kiss of death, full of passion for someone not meant for her, but that of which she wore the mask of.
She took "puker up" to a whooooole new level 😂
