To be fair some unfertilized eggs may contain a bit of blood. It isn’t dangerous or a sign of eating a baby chicken. Happened once or twice with some of the first eggs my first batch of hens laid.
If you've ever done a dissection, distinguishing parts could be described as trying to study a carpet to tell which threads are red, which ones are scarlet and which ones are vermillion.
I played this as a child and loved every second of it, I actually thought it was like a "realistic" cooking game and I didnt understand the "eating chicken/turkey bad" message, didnt really learn anything at all so i kept eating my chicken nuggets as if it was nothing

Part of why these games didn't work is that people already made "mario but with shitloads of blood and stuff" for shits and giggles so if you were a kid on the internet in the late 2000s/early 2010s like I was they just blended right in

I get the feeling that the folks at PETA never slaughtered, prepared and cooked an animal before. It's really not that messy if you do it right and certainly a far better death than animals in the wild get. It's unpleasant to consider but basically every animal you see in the wild will die in terror, agony and probably starving. There are no peaceful deaths in nature, no wild animal dies before it realises what's happening. We can stand to improve the conditions animals are reared in, absolutely. But we certainly give animals a better death than they'll find in nature.
The existence of worse things doesn't make a bad thing better. Humanity doesn't use wild animals, it produces additional lives for new unlucky fate. I don't say "go vegan", I just say that your argument is bad.
@@hrzmann I think my argument is more about the strangeness of PETA's position, they spend so much effort and energy on abolishing something that simply will not stop until there's an equivalent quality and cheaper synthetic variant. Just imagine the good they could have done for the conditions of farmed animals if they had focused their efforts on improving farming conditions and campaigning for more strict animal welfare laws rather pushing people away with their aggressive position. Ownership of animals is not going to stop, the rearing and slaughter of animals will not stop any time soon. They would do far more good pushing for a more humane meat industry, the inevitable increased costs would also encourage the development of alternatives.

When i was a kid, we didn't really have money to buy a lot of games so i mostly grew up on online games and this was one of those. I was surprised to find out that this is a knockoff of a real game. I never realized that mama was supposed to be evil, especially since my first language isnt english so i didnt understand what the game was saying. I never thought anything about her being angry, i thought she was just like that. I also didnt realize this was supposed to disgust me into never eating meat again- like i _was_ disgusted by all the blood and veins and all the other gross stuff in this game but thats only natural. I remember playing this when I was 5 not even being aware that this was a vegan game, (note: I got banned from this game because it said killing in it) and when I was 6 I played the real cooking mama and I was like, this feels so different and in 2020 I was like oh ok now I know the difference

I get the feeling that the folks at PETA never slaughtered, prepared and cooked an animal before.
It's really not that messy if you do it right and certainly a far better death than animals in the wild get.
It's unpleasant to consider but basically every animal you see in the wild will die in terror, agony and probably starving.
There are no peaceful deaths in nature, no wild animal dies before it realises what's happening.
We can stand to improve the conditions animals are reared in, absolutely. But we certainly give animals a better death than they'll find in nature.
The existence of worse things doesn't make a bad thing better. Humanity doesn't use wild animals, it produces additional lives for new unlucky fate. I don't say "go vegan", I just say that your argument is bad.
@@hrzmann I think my argument is more about the strangeness of PETA's position, they spend so much effort and energy on abolishing something that simply will not stop until there's an equivalent quality and cheaper synthetic variant.
Just imagine the good they could have done for the conditions of farmed animals if they had focused their efforts on improving farming conditions and campaigning for more strict animal welfare laws rather pushing people away with their aggressive position.
Ownership of animals is not going to stop, the rearing and slaughter of animals will not stop any time soon.
They would do far more good pushing for a more humane meat industry, the inevitable increased costs would also encourage the development of alternatives.
They haven't prepared or cooked them, but they have slaughtered many. Take a look at the number of animals put down in their "shelters".

When i was a kid, we didn't really have money to buy a lot of games so i mostly grew up on online games and this was one of those. I was surprised to find out that this is a knockoff of a real game. I never realized that mama was supposed to be evil, especially since my first language isnt english so i didnt understand what the game was saying. I never thought anything about her being angry, i thought she was just like that. I also didnt realize this was supposed to disgust me into never eating meat again- like i _was_ disgusted by all the blood and veins and all the other gross stuff in this game but thats only natural.
Also, why does cutting the turkey's neck cause blood to appear below its body???

@fluffy Drawns now you see the difference here is that you are an actual person, whereas in the Peta interconnected universe everyone is either a hyper-vegan saint or a meat eating barbarian who drinks the blood of baby animals and beats them for fun. No exceptions.
The game totally did the opposite. I really loved the evil mama part because how different and cool it was.
