    If you suffer from cavities in your teeth, drastically reduce your carbohydrate intake. Due to health problems I changed my diet multiple times and when I was keto or zero carb my teeth and gums were as clean and healthy as they could be. I didn't even need to brush my teeth, only floss due to some meat being stuck between them.

Can I combine salmon oil and cod liver oil, or is that too much and might it lead to toxicity? Can I combine them with vitamin D? I’m afraid I couldn’t say, it depends. If you have reason to worry that someone would be prone to vitamin A toxicity, and given cod liver oil has around 175% of the recommended amount, you would have to decide whether the benefits outweigh the risk or whether there is a better alternative.

      Most cod liver oil is more processed than people are lead to believe, even the biggest known brands, they have a processing method which includes heat, the processing removes much of the natural nutrients and many of them are added back in with "Natural" vitamins, which although aren't 100% synthetic, are still not 100% natural and are synthesized using sunflower oil and other things. Two of the only brands that allegedly don't use those methods, and don't add back in questionable vitamins, are Nutrapro and Rosita, Nutrapro even has lab test results right on the product page (For people avoiding heavy metals and impurities) I bet Rosita has that too somewhere. However all of the brands ARE cod liver oil, regardless of quality or additives, at the end of the day it isn't as much as a big industry as vegetable oil is, which is a scam in every way, I doubt even 100% real olive oil is healthy, but maybe it's one of the only decent PLANT oils, that and coconut oil.@@nw8000

    Algae Oil is healthier and sustainable ;)
    For crying out loud, why don´t you talk about Algae Oil!?
    Since fish are quite high in food chain they are full of pollutants, plus the modern fishing industry is literally killing the oceans and we kind of need them for oxygen.
    I for my part like breathing …

      The two most important and highest quality Cod liver brands have full lab tests you can see on their website or ask of them (Nutrapro's has lab tests right on the website). So you can see exactly how pure their product is from heavy metals etc. Second of all, we need animal products, simply catching the fish is not a problem they multiply fast, however the issue of polluting is a completely different issue unrelated to fishing. FYI Never heard of Algae oil and it sounds unappetizing, I doubt it's as essential to the body as actual fish liver oil

    NEITHER. Halibut liver oil is far better than both of them. If you eat fish, then taking fish oil is an overdose. And once again halibut liver oil is far superior to cod liver oil.

      Yes, the fish oil I take contains cod fish as well as sardines and mackerel. Maybe it's the quantity that differs, or maybe cod liver oil is more derived from the liver of the cod fish than typical cod fish oil.

    • @Faine212
      @Faine212 Год назад

      Fish oil is fish oil, Cod liver oil is fish oil extracted from the Liver, as I hope you know, Liver is the most nutrient rich organ or body part in general of any animal. Thus oil extracted from the liver of the fish is much more nutrient dense, especially in Vitamin A and D. And fun fact, COD isn't just FISH in general, COD is a specific type of fish.
