Pokemon Conquest was the only game I know of that prior to its release had posters with the release date hanging in stores but then all that happened on that date was that the posters were removed - without any freaking game ever being released in this country. I had been looking forward to this game for so long and then I had to wait even longer because I had to get it from another country first.
This video was so interesting! Tbh it makes sense why Pokémon would be the game with so many games focused on learning to read and write but…I still wasn’t expecting this many lol
I'm surprised Pokémon Learning League wasn't included! Although to be fair, it was a flash game, but I'm sad that it's basically lost media at this point.
If you're going to include the Pokemon Mini, then I think you should have included the Pokemon Pikachu and its sequel which were tamagotchi like devices. In the second one, you were able to send mystery gifts to Gen 2.
Broke my 10 year old heart 😂😂 i was absolutely in love with gen 3 when i was a kid fr lg rse will always be the peak pokemon in my eyes, 20 years after i first played my cousins copy of leaf green and its atill the best.
As a huge Pokémon fan who hopes to have all the games one day (maybe aside from the ones in arcades) it’s really cool seeing something like this. I’m lucky enough that I have a used game store kinda near my house and have been able to buy some of the Japan exclusive games too. I’m so happy he mentioned the Pokémon Mini too cause it doesn’t get talked about enough
WOOOOO PICO AND BEENA REPRESENTATION lmaooo Great video as always! You should do a sequel to this video with all the games people mentioned in the comments!
I think you missed the Dream World from Gen 5. I wish I had real internet when that was out. Dial up doesn't count. I used to play Pokemon TCG Online, but when Pokemon GO released, the TCGO servers were down for weeks and I just never bothered to go back. I have no idea why that happened. They should be on different servers anyway.
Agreed. To me, PaPaSea is a core Pokemon creator that I recommend to anyone who enjoys the Pokecontent like MandJ, EmporerCubone, Droomish, jrose etc. 💪🙏
@@SuperKamehameha2 more a comment on the wild, manufactured scarcity type commercialism of Game Freak and TPC than a judgement on how you enjoy your collection of this franchise we both love, sorry to imply you were making a bad choice or whatever. You have a thing you value and I am glad, I just think it’s scummy the way so many of the physical games are rocketing in price bc Game Freak would rather smack modders than let me play games I already bought a decade or more ago on my Switch legally. Like I’d happily pay for the ability just to play a DS, Gamecube or GBA Pokemon game legally
Yeah there's a lot of PC games like that Pokémon project studio red/blue edition Pokerom Gotta learn them all The three Perdue Farms games Pokémon Masters Arena Pokémon Team Turbo Pokémon PC master Pokémon Play It! V1/V2
I wouldn’t call Print Studio Red and Blue for *Games*. They’re a creativity software. Or was there actually some game aspect to it that I’m forgetting?🤔
More facts for BDSP. Runs faster and better than the originals and Platinum. Better quality of life improvements. Has content not in the originals and Platinum such as hideaways and ramanas park. Also it has the Azure Flute event which is accessible legitimately unlike the gen four games. It has a free Mew and Jirachi if you have save data.
Pokemon Mezastar has recently been replaced by Pokemon Frienda here in japan. idk if it is backwards compatible with mezastar but it is shares the same developers.
The SV one is or misexplained or wrong. In B2W2 you can also have Zubat and Geodude, but not Tentacool. Sure, eventually you can have it as you transfer it from gen 4, but that makes it technically not available. Yes, I know. Huge "but actually" vibes...
If we were got a remastered version of Pokémon Colosseum, I hope they include the future generation evolutions. Same with XD. That would balance out the game from having very weak Johto Pokémon that never gt any better. But I'd want them to have Hisuian Qwilfish, and Galarian Mr. Mime instead of the original versions. And have all the Pokémon use their Gen 9 Level up movesets!
Fun fact for Pokémon Tetris Mini we found, there was actually an in-person event released via Infrared at Pokémon Centers in Japan to unlock Mew & Celebi. Crazy stuff, good vid! m.ruclips.net/video/RZXH0IkIXVg/видео.html

Hearing “As of January 2025” gave me whiplash, it still hasn’t clicked in my head that it was the new year 😂😭

Did anyone else play Pokemon Play It: Trading Card Game, where you could play Pokemon TCG against the computer? I think it came out in 2000.
Groudon and Kyogre were only on Colosseum's box art to show off the compatibility with Ruby and Sapphire

Emerald introduced overworld Ability effects as a new gameplay mechanic.

You forgot to mention those elliptical Pokémon Rom computer discs that came out during the time of gen 2
WOOOOO PICO AND BEENA REPRESENTATION lmaooo

Dude underatted channel you deserve more love your content is such good quality

for pokemon tcgp there's still a reference to the fairy type because clefairy and clefable are weak to metal type
Yet another fantastic, entertaining and educational video. Well done my friend. Keep up the righteous work!! 💪💯
Hearing all these really brings out the depth that goes into Pokemon in general.
15:55 I hear you on being 10 months into shiny hunting. I’m 10 months into my shiny roamer hunt in HG. Best of luck on your Turtwig!
The American Pokémon Box is still my most prized Pokémon related merchandise
could get a (crappy) car with that resale value though like damn we’re in deep
@ nah I’d rather keep it, I’ve had it since release lol. I already have a perfectly good car 🤷♂️

"Camp pokemon was a" anton ego eating ratatouille gif
Your content is great
19:40 I'd actually clarify that you mean gen 5 as in B2W2 because you cannot transfer to the original black and white titles with dream radar.
With how many games SEGA made using Pokemon, I would love to see a crossover with Sonic one day (though I'm not holding my breath).
unless i missed it, the pokeRom wasnt mentioned and it was a big part of my childhood
I guess it technically isn’t a game, but it would’ve been cool if he mention the Pokémon Pikachu, Pokémon Pikachu 2, and PokéWalker
i will sell my soul if we get new/remakes of Pokemon Ranger and the 3DS Pokemon Picross
Sorry Champ, you missed the Pikachu Tamagotchi-style game.
Always so interesting, love your stuff dude!
I was listening to the video while washing the dishes but I couldn't hear anything about CONQUEST!!!!!
19:26 Conquest
omg Pokédex 3d was my teaaa I have such fond memories of it!
I need the American and Japanese copies of box to add to my collection
21:44 Pokémon GO has more obtainable Pokémon than 802. I don't know how many but my pokédex there says I have 808 and I'm missing a bunch.
Not all 876 pokemon in pokemon go are actively obtainable
@xandercarr72 I guess it depends on what exactly was meant by obtainable.
Enjoyed it greatly, but you missed a game called pokemon play it!, would love for you to check that one out cause its kinda wierd
surprised the PokeROMs weren't mentioned!
NEW PAPA SEA VIDEO 🥳🥳
19:25 Pokémon Conquest was also not released in France for some reason.
You missed a few games. Pokémon print studio red and blue were two games released on pc and split the Pokédex between them
Yeah there's a lot of PC games like that
Pokémon project studio red/blue edition
Pokerom Gotta learn them all
The three Perdue Farms games
Pokémon Masters Arena
Pokémon Team Turbo
Pokémon PC master
Pokémon Play It! V1/V2
@ I also randomly got this pokemon the movie 2000 cd with a trailer beta pictures and even some flash games lol

3:17 EXCUSE ME what did you just call me? At least you think I’m fantastic though ☺️
Being here in the first 10 minutes feels outrageous
Pokemon Mezastar has recently been replaced by Pokemon Frienda here in japan. idk if it is backwards compatible with mezastar but it is shares the same developers.
Pokemon super mystery dungeon having only 20 playable pokemon...😂
Pokemon trading card for pc in 1995 or 1996
17:44 is that a shiny woobat on the cover?
Not to be that guy but you missed the board games.
Oh my god. I completely forgot about the Pokémon mini! Thank you so much for awakening those memmories from childhood 🥹
as theres no search bar i can only assume you forgot about black and blue. pleaee redo video or show me the timestamp for PETA's official pokemon game
The SV one is or misexplained or wrong. In B2W2 you can also have Zubat and Geodude, but not Tentacool. Sure, eventually you can have it as you transfer it from gen 4, but that makes it technically not available.
Yes, I know. Huge "but actually" vibes...
Treasure! Especially all those wonderful educational games. 😂
I didn’t hear a mention of the Japanese only Pokèmon TCG 2 for Game Boy Color.
Forgot the pc TCG games and art studio
A couple facts for EVERY pokemon game! XD
If we were got a remastered version of Pokémon Colosseum, I hope they include the future generation evolutions. Same with XD. So basically, you don't want a remaster, you want a brand new game. 🙄
Uh That Scar/Violet fact isn't true, Sword and Shield have Tentacool and Zubat, but not Geodude.
Wait, this is more than one fact per game...
Fun fact for Pokémon Tetris Mini we found, there was actually an in-person event released via Infrared at Pokémon Centers in Japan to unlock Mew & Celebi. Crazy stuff, good vid!
