    I looked at both Tacoma's and found the trail hunter shocks were a little stiffer. ( probably for weight/overlanding). Seats in the Pro are amazing, and with having grown children the back area is a none issue. I agree about with you about the engine, so a purchased a Trd Pro with the scenic light package, and i love it

    Truck looks awesome! The price is what turned people off. No one will pay $60K - $70K for a mid-sized truck.

      I disagree. They ARE paying it, which is why Chevy and GM sell extreme trims that are very expensive as well. (And try finding a Ranger Raptor for its supposed base price without markups or other BS) The better question is SHOULD people pay that much? Obviously not, but our willingness to spend too much on full sized trucks led to the midsize market inflating as well. It's not the manufacturers that did it; it's us.

    you got the numbers wrong, 2023 was the last of the best gen.

    • @jax1079
      @jax1079  7 дней назад

      People get emotional about this, but objectively it's not true at all. The last gen was underpowered, had a terrible driving position, and was less electronically sophisticated off-road. The amount of emphasis they place on the reliability far exceeds the actual benefit to day to day usage.

      @@jax1079 those things are true, yet still the fact remains its a cooler truck.

      But if all of those things are true, why is it a cooler truck? Personally, having driven that gen extensively, I think this generation is WAY cooler than the last gen. It looks better, and the TRD Pro and Trailhunter variants are WAY more capable and cool looking than the outgoing Tacoma TRD Pro. In time, the builds that people do on these things will be absolutely ridiculous.

    No V6 and to much good bye toyota 😂😂😂

      I hear this a lot, but the new iForce Max is superior to the old V6 in every way, and only the TRD Pro is unusually expensive (and not that much more than Colorado ZR2 Bison). The new TRD Off-road is essentially as good as the last gen TRD Pro.
