Welcome to a playthrough of the Mangs Dungeon showcased on the 100k special stream. In this series I am going to be showing off all the memes and secrets that the players did not discover, on a brand new difficulty made by Shuusuke which features higher stats on enemies and timers on the instructors/prisoners.

The NPCs won't attack Risto, it was too frustrating before I made this change. Many of them would willingly get cursed to death.
And the Bonk staff...hm, a staff that can be used to attack...sounds like something a staff-locked unit would appreciate, doesn't it? If you don't scare her off first, that is.

One tip for Hard - use the prep screen to sell your torches. They're worse than useless otherwise, and you get 750 gold for them

The Mangs Dungeon, where your choices really matter
if you noticed, in this mode the thieves have no chest keys nor lockpicks, just treasure. that's why they just go "what am i even doing here" and leave right away, if they have nothing they can steal
edit: nvm shuusuke just took away thieves' thief powers so they just can't do thief stuff without chest keys
Dimitri is so hard to keep alive because he just charges away, i spent my rescue staff pulling him back.

You know it would be pretty fun if the Paragon instructor gave you 200 xp instead of the usual 100. Kinda broken perhaps but would be a kinda fun detail.

Mangs, those Metis Tome thieves flee because they don't have lockpicks so they cannot open chests.
Explain the one with lockpicks though, they also ignore the chests and run.
Thieves don't open chests because their ability to Steal was removed. If they could steal, then there would be no way to get the stolen items back. Some may think it'd be funny to watch people lose items, but losing something like a Master Seal isn't something I'd want to be able to happen.

Unlike in other hacks, doing another action after talking/supporting is not a thing here. May I ask why it wasn't implemented?
That's not a necessary change to begin with, especially in this hack in which all talks actually do something. It makes sense for talks that are just talks and don't do anything gameplay-wise, but here all of them give 100 exp, and either a skill, item, or an NPC, so that's reason enough to get them and to weigh that against not doing a different action.
You don't lose a turn to Instruct, since that's something that will only have an effect on the next NPC phase, assuming the NPC survives Enemy Phase.

As far as gameplay goes, yeah that's fine. After this playthrough I'll make a 3.0 update fixing whatever bugs come up, if you want to wait for that.
But I'm not the one who made most of the assets, so if you want to use them, you'd have to ask their creators.
