Well presented... didn't see any instructions? when you say add another overdub press the pedal button but you also say press the button to delete? Plus do you always need electronic if no battery op?
Hi thanks for watching. You press the button to record, but hold it down to delete. And yes it does require a 9v power adapter. Another viewer mentioned that you can also power it using the USB connection, but I haven’t tried that myself. Hope that helps
Does turning the volume up or down with the pedal effect the volume level my guitar as well? For example can I record a loop then turn the volume down with the pedal but still keep my same volume level of my guitar?
I enjoyed this video - functions very simply put and well delivered. I have not long purchased a Loop Stage looper pedal and looking to see what it can add to my game. Cheers - I have subscribed.
this is so helpful, thank you! ...I have a solo gig coming up but, usually play with my band so, this will really help me have a fuller more cohesive sound. getting one!
The timing of the loop must be done on the first recording. The rest - the timing of the button doesn't have to be perfect. Many people say it's good to practice creating that first loop and getting that timing just right. It's a bit of an art, but practice makes perfect. ALSO... you can load perfectly-timed drum loops on it and just record over that... so you don't have to worry about timing at all!
@@paxxous It's not automated. I just happened to load some perfect-timed loops on it and then recorded over that loop. You don't have to do that, and most people don't. It's just an option that I use...
Great video. Very well done. It covered all the features of the pedal and demonstrated how each one worked. I was looking for a cheap looper pedal and this fits the bill and has a tuner as well.
Thanks for the video. I bought this pedal based on your recommendation and I love it but I have a question for anyone that owns this pedal. My pedal emits a relatively faint high pitched digital whine when it’s plugged in. It’s not super loud but I’d rather it wasn’t there. Is that normal or did I get a bad one?
Thanks for the comment. That’s strange that it is making that noise. It sounds like maybe it’s a grounding issue (?) Have you tried plugging it into a different outlet? Or trying different power adapter?
@@Studio33guitar Thanks for the response. I bought a dedicated power supply for it and now the noise is gone. Hooray! Before I was using a one spot daisy chain supply and I guess there was some interference down the line. Thanks again for the video and for introducing me to this very handy pedal.
@@LocalManMakesMusic Awesome, I’m glad that worked. Yes those daisy chains are convenient but notorious for noise. Great to hear you’re happy with it now!
1 question, can you 1 add an interface in order to use several instruments / mic then create different loops i,e vocal harmonizing and add new loops with different instruments, ????? and what interface would make this work ?? sorry it's more like 5 questions in one,
If my amp has a bunch of effects built in, would those effects record in the loop? Since the pedal is from the guitar to the amp I don't think it will work
Awesome ,some have drum beats, too, now my little studio Line 6 amp has built in effects,I can prob lay down a clean rythem then solo over that with more distortion n gain? I'd have to keep the volume the same tho right? Like some effects on my amp are much louder Thanks,I'm stuck between this or the more pricey Red Boss one, then Amazon has a Zoom Looper/Drums/Effects for 100$ but only has a 30 second loop but as my first looper n the price I should probably get this simple cheaper one but as long as it reads my diff effects but I'm sure it does cuz it just records the sound u feed it.Its easier than using my 16 track recorder n 16 track drum sequencer just for practice and I could still add drums if I wanted

Thanks--very helpful and will save me a lot of time trying to understand the directions (translated from Chinese they are not always clear). I see great potential with this pedal--my son bought it for my birthday and I had been researching loopers to use live as well as when writing songs and as you noted figuring out guitar solos and/or rehearsing them. This should do the job nicely, so once again thanks for the demos! 👍👍
@@Studio33guitar Nope--first I could not get my macbook to work with it, then the pedal would not record any more--seems it was defective so I returned it.
@@Studio33guitar Yes, and while that one worked with the driver for my MacBook, it did not work correctly for other functions like deleting overdubs or recording loops, so I returned that one too. I'll be getting something else.
Just got one of these for Xmas this morning. Love it so far! Great way to practice chord changes without the same sleepy backing tracks you usually find
I love this pedal the only thing is i can only here it trough 1 speaker....is there an option to make this pedal sound stereo? I have an audio interface....
Here's a noob questions ,where would this go on a pedals board im assuming at the very end even after the noise gate ,so wouldn't that effect the tuner ability let's say if the sound is going through distortion reverb compressor noise gate then to this looper would it still be able to tune ?
Yes, that's exactly right! The looper would typically go at the end of your chain, otherwise all the other pedals would affect the sound. However, you could put it earlier in the chain if that's what you want! You could record a clean loop and then have the ability to add/ remove overdrive etc to the loop as desired. The choice is yours really. And yes, the tuner will work as the signal comes through the other pedals in the off position. I hope you enjoy the pedal, I love mine! Troy
I have one. It's great for clean stuff. If you want to mix distortion and clean it's sounds poor and even just layering high gain tracks is wonky. I didn't run through an fx loop so that might change things. I wouldn't use this for live but for soloing at home it's useful.
I just got mine today. Haven't read the instructions but I may need to. I am running it thru my old Korg AX-1000G effects processor. I recorded a clean loop, but when I switched the effect to a distortion to play a lead, it made that clean loop distorted as well. Also, the volume of the recorded loop gets drowned out when I go to play lead. If I turn the knob on the Lekato to the right, it will boost the volume of the recording, and drown out the lead signal. Man I hate reading instructions lol but I guess I have to this time.
If you run the loop into the effects unit, any changes to the effects will impact the loop. Place the looper pedal after your effects! That will fix the problem
@@Studio33guitar Thanks. My guitar room has dim lighting. Doesn't help that I'm legally blind either. lol Pedal arrived after dark. I was anxious to try it out. Found out you can delete a loop by pressing the foot switch and tapping the button on the right 2x quickly. Gotta love trial & error. :-)

The volume knob on the pedal is just for the playback level. So no, it does not affect you guitar volume. Thanks for the question!
@@Studio33guitar awesome. Thanks for the quick reply!
No problem! Glad I could help!
Did you end up ordering one?
@@Studio33guitar I will and I'd use your link if you had a European one
Thanks! If you click on the US link it should default to your country. I also have a UK one listed if that helps
I enjoyed this video - functions very simply put and well delivered. I have not long purchased a Loop Stage looper pedal and looking to see what it can add to my game. Cheers - I have subscribed.
Awesome video and pedal. Thanks for posting.
wake me up when september ends
this is so helpful, thank you! ...I have a solo gig coming up but, usually play with my band so, this will really help me have a fuller more cohesive sound. getting one!
Awesome! This is great for live performances! Let me know how it works for you!
@@Studio33guitar sure will .....it's a little down the road in a month or two
Good demo, is there any easy way to immediately stop the loop once you’re done with a song for performance purposes?
Thanks for the question! Yes, if you just click on the pedal it stops playing. I have used this in live situations and it works great!
@@Studio33guitar Awesome, thanks for the reply
@@djwiggles2835 You bet!
Can you use any percussion instruments also
?
The timing of the loop must be done on the first recording. The rest - the timing of the button doesn't have to be perfect. Many people say it's good to practice creating that first loop and getting that timing just right. It's a bit of an art, but practice makes perfect. ALSO... you can load perfectly-timed drum loops on it and just record over that... so you don't have to worry about timing at all!
I was actually hoping for that to not be automated, so I can practice with my timing.
@@paxxous It's not automated. I just happened to load some perfect-timed loops on it and then recorded over that loop. You don't have to do that, and most people don't. It's just an option that I use...
I think so. It's a fun little challenge for timing.
Great video. Very well done. It covered all the features of the pedal and demonstrated how each one worked. I was looking for a cheap looper pedal and this fits the bill and has a tuner as well.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you liked it. Did you get one of these pedals?
@@Studio33guitar I have one on order.
Great pedal,, can I ask which model your epiphone is
Hi, thanks for watching! That’s an Epiphone Dot. It’s a great guitar!
Great review, very informative and also excellent tutorial on how to use the pedal. Based in this review bought one for my Grandson. Thank you.
Awesome! He’ll love it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for the review I appreciate it because I'm looking a for a good looper pedal for not a lot of money.
This is a great one! I love mine! Did you end up getting one?
@@Studio33guitaryes, I already have one and it's a great pedal with unlimited overdub overdub option. A must have for guitar players.
It sounds like maybe it’s a grounding issue (?)
Have you tried plugging it into a different outlet? Or trying different power adapter?
@@Studio33guitar Thanks for the response. I bought a dedicated power supply for it and now the noise is gone. Hooray! Before I was using a one spot daisy chain supply and I guess there was some interference down the line. Thanks again for the video and for introducing me to this very handy pedal.
@@LocalManMakesMusic Awesome, I’m glad that worked. Yes those daisy chains are convenient but notorious for noise. Great to hear you’re happy with it now!
Thanks for the great review and comparison!
Just purchased this pedal because of this video. Seems really really nice! Thank you for the video
Awesome! I was impressed with the quality and features and the price! I think you’ll love it. Have you had a chance to try it out yet?
@@Studio33guitar I have not! It should be here next week some time
Great! Let me know what you think! I’m also happy to help with any questions you might have!
@@Studio33guitar well that is very nice of you! And I will for sure let you know how I feel about it. Looking forward to letting you know!
Great! Enjoy!
Copped one bc of this video 💯
Awesome! Have you received it yet?
Just subscribed. Great informative video. Ill be getting one of these very soon!!
Like some effects on my amp are much louder
Thanks,I'm stuck between this or the more pricey Red Boss one, then Amazon has a Zoom Looper/Drums/Effects for 100$ but only has a 30 second loop but as my first looper n the price I should probably get this simple cheaper one but as long as it reads my diff effects but I'm sure it does cuz it just records the sound u feed it.Its easier than using my 16 track recorder n 16 track drum sequencer just for practice and I could still add drums if I wanted
I just bought this right b4 I watched this I'm happy
Awesome! I love mine! How do you like it so far?
I got one of these from eBay for £34 with free delivery. Amazon price is £55.99
Sounds like a great deal! You’ll love it!
Thanks for the video, but does it sound good with high gain tones? I couldn't find any demos like that
It sounds great to me! I should have included that in this demo. Thanks for watching!
getting this pedal immediately. Will be useful for practicing/my Full-Band rock shows/Solo Acoustic Shows.
Awesome! Did you end up getting one?
Have you been able to export loops to a PC? Win 7 as well as Win 10 don't recognize the device.
Hi , thanks for watching. I have done it on my Mac, but it does require a software download. it is also available for PC. This video explains where to get that software and how to use it -

Let me know if this helps!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you found it helpful. It's a great pedal! Have you had a chance to use it much since this comment?
@@Studio33guitar Nope--first I could not get my macbook to work with it, then the pedal would not record any more--seems it was defective so I returned it.
@@MrWilkat1 Oh no! Did you get a replacement? I haven’t had any trouble with mine!
@@Studio33guitar Yes, and while that one worked with the driver for my MacBook, it did not work correctly for other functions like deleting overdubs or recording loops, so I returned that one too. I'll be getting something else.
@@MrWilkat1 Really? Wow, sorry you had those issues! Thanks for the info
Just got one of these for Xmas this morning. Love it so far! Great way to practice chord changes without the same sleepy backing tracks you usually find
Yes! It has many uses! You’ll love it!
hello there, is it still usable till now on?
Just bought one of these fantastic review ....thank you
Great! How do you like it?
Can you start and stop an individual loop? As in , if you want to add a loop to a chorus part only can you control loops individually?
Hi, thanks for the question. No, you can't control individual loops like that. They all play together
i wonder how good the recording aspect of it is. Would i be able to say use the uploaded audio files for an actual mix when creating a song?
It has a 24 bit sampling rate and sounds great! Thanks for watching!
I love this pedal the only thing is i can only here it trough 1 speaker....is there an option to make this pedal sound stereo? I have an audio interface....
Hi thanks for watching. The pedal is only mono, but you could add a splitter if you wanted to have the sound come out of two speakers
Great review. Does this work with any amp? If not how do I know what ones it works for?
Works with any amp. Run a cord from the pedal to your amp and plug in as you would your guitar.
Great review and very detailed I love it! This pedal is arriving for me today can’t wait for it to arrive
Awesome! You’ll love it! Thanks for watching!
What is the maximum recording time/bars please? Eg if I wanted to record all the chords for Hotel California?
Hello, thanks for the question. A single loop can be up to 10 mins long
does it come with additional instruments like bass drums etc
Here's a noob questions ,where would this go on a pedals board im assuming at the very end even after the noise gate ,so wouldn't that effect the tuner ability let's say if the sound is going through distortion reverb compressor noise gate then to this looper would it still be able to tune ?
Nevermind i realized i can bypass the effects if i need to use the tuner I'm gonna cancel the tuner pedal i ordered on Amazon and get this baby
