Bob has written some of the best songs of our generation and sung them as well!
Thank you for your kind words, you should be a member of my fanbase❤
I've been listening to Bob's music for more than 40 years and was lucky to see him on stage in 1981, 2009 and 2011... and man I never end to discover another side of him. How profound and powerful on one's mind ! Simply fascinating. It's unbelievable the way it makes my life a much better one to live. Thank youso much Bob for being yourself to the core !
' a Sweet heart '
So high-class band l love ever
Very true, ya just don't have enough years left to unravel and understand what all he's been saying for 60+ years.
A true marksman in this craft.
Johnny G.
Was into Dylan in the 1960's till mid 70's, then work, life and family kept me busy. I knew then Dylan was a genius, but I had no idea until today, at age 74 when I was just surfing around you tube and came across this Brighton England show from 2002. A whole new Bob Dylan I never knew. What can I Say......just blown away by this remarkable human being. He can also be Marshall Dillon- new Sheriff in Town in town. Time to burn one and get ready to spend some time with this new Dylan before I depart this life. I love this !
It's comments like this that make what I do worthwhile.
@Robert Sinclair lol.... new arrangements...... not. They are frickin new songs. Sheesh, and I am VERY open minded about his performances and how they vary vastly. I do not really like the "new arrangements" .... although I do think that he is a musical master.... far beyond most. Approx. 1994 to 2004 is my sweet spot for his live shows. Awesome.
.... and Mr. Gubitz, it is people like you, posting this, that make my life so much more complete. Thank you so much!
Music (mostly Dylan and Garcia) is very important to me for my personal sanity. If I dont listen to at least 1 or 2 Dylan shows and a JGB or GD set or two each day, I am not going to be very centered in my mind.
@@keithgubitz6502 Indeed, loved reading this, put a smile to my face (50yr young here). And yes youtube is the most amazing thing.
FUCK YEAH BROTHER... BURNIN' ONE WITH YOU ✌
DYLAN FAN FOR 40 YEARS.
STONEFREE (Hendrix)
This is the most wonderful thing I've ever heard Can't thank you enough. Mr Keith
You always gotta be prepared but you never know for what
Dylan is wonderful as usual and his Band are marvellous.
Subterranean Homesick Blues! I saw him every year for a decade in those years, never heard him play that one. cool!

So nice of you! Thanks so much!!
Thanks for the playlist…it’s great to have!👍
for this version of "man of constant sorrow "you deserve the nobel price for you tube uploaders!!!
Mighty performance ; the answer is still blowing in the wind !
jim keltner on drums !
one of my heros he plays with a lot of understatement and grooves like hell
We all first heard of Jim Keltner on James Taylor's first album Fire And Rain. When was that? I'm so old now it hardly matters. Keep going, Mr. Mario. Stay safe.
@@thomasmuscheck7208
yes fire & rain
around 1876 😓
no in all seriousness!!
that was some tasteful drumming
very inspirierend 🎶
@@mario7frankielee It sure feels like 1876. You did that to intentionally make me feel even older. I wish we did live for 200 years. What we got is not enough. Good wishes to you, man.
@@thomasmuscheck7208
..... but we where so much older then, we’re younger than that now🍀
Jim Keltner 1994 Nara Japan Music Experience...as Nissi stated, surprised Dylan wasn't lifted off from the stage it was so powerfully moving with that kazillion piece orchestra backing him!
So glad to still see him out there on the trail!
Lovely set... especially the Love & Theft numbers. Thank you very much, Mr Gubitz!
I feel ya. "Love and Theft" Rocks!
So glad to hear and see Bob continuing to perform; a music legend!
Love it ! We were there, right up front and dancing. One of my favourite Bob Dylan concerts.
Hope it Ws bit of dancing country swing
He was doing really long concerts for a while there, this was one. I saw him on 10/14/2001, it was close to 2 1/2 hours, i couldn't believe it, never saw one that long, not that i have seen that many, total 7 over a lifetime, but one included 2/14/74 when Before the Flood was recorded that afternoon, and it was long but i don't think it was 2 1/2 hours.
i heard a recording of one on 11/19/01 in NYC that was also about the same length, so i guess that was an era of very long and musically very eclectic performances. I remember that at the 2001 concert, he talked to the audience like i hadn't seen him do before, throughout the concert, he was casual, relaxed, friendly and appeared to be a person doing what he loves doing more than anything in the world . He had so much material he wanted to cover, plenty of music from every era, and there were performances almost every day, week after week---wow, what energy !!! it was the most i ever saw him soloing on guitar.
It's so great to hear this one which is in the same kind of spirit.
Thank you so much for posting this.
Great details. Those WERE magic days. Much appreciated. Cheers.
This is one damn good show, love the Larry Campbell years.
Thank You Keith
I saw him the following year and Larry and the other guitar player whose name I unfortunately forgot blew me away with their solos. They pretty much stole the show from Dylan on more rocking numbers (Highway 61, Tombstone Blues etc.). His current guitar players don't have that kind of ferocity
I agree.
ljswack the Sexton Campbell years were magical. The acoustic numbers sound like cascading waterfalls of phosphor bronze vibrations that shiver down my spine!
@@MKActual. WOW, well-put.
Brilliant upload. Great audio. very good filming and great close-ups of our wonderful Bob. Thank you so much.
This I amazing. Dylan was killing it around this time.
Great audio. Clear and crisp sound for a bootleg. Thanks.
What a concert!!! "I Shall Be Released"- beautiful. Bob Dylan was visibly happy as he waved to the crowd in the end. Thank you Mr Keith
You're also beautiful, your kind words fill my soul with gladness. I'd be happy to have you as a member of my fan base community ❤
‘I shall be released’ with Band (!!male!!) voices for a change.. backing Dylan, beautifully done!! Brighton was my hometown years before 2002! Would’ve loved to go to this concert❣️ ‘A man of constant sorrow’ great countrystyle too! Thanks Dylan and all ‘Musicmen’ Great the quiet tempo.. suiting the song fully❤️🌹👌🌞💫🌷
We could do some studio session together, I like to have you as one of my fan base community ❤
What can one say? We are living i a time with who will probably go down as one of/if not thee all-time greatest musical artist of all time. This is simply incredible. To say he fascinates me is a major understatement. I've only seen him twice. Once up in Buffalo with The Grateful Dead and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers in like '87 and then in NYC at The Beacon Theater with Lenny Kravitz opening up for him. I think in the early 90's. The guy fascinates me. This is a great show. Thanks to whomever for sharing...
Best band ever. Bob and the boys are on fire.
*THE SOUND IS PERFECT*
what a version of Cold Irons Bound!
Well done you to capture a moment,
spread over ages.
Thank you.
I was there !!! so pleased. My fav Dylan show x
I have found my new favourite thing on the internet! Stunning show!
One of the highlights of my life was the opportunity to see Dylan and his band from a front-row center seat at the Inglewood Forum in Los Angeles during the 1978 'Street Legal' tour. Unforgettable!
I LOVE the crowd's shock when he starts Subterranean!
Just imagining bob in my home town, beautiful city ofbrighton....what a combo.!
First rap song I ever heard an was in my late teens and long before rap came on the scene 😊
We watched this same concert a couple of months ago. Since it's been remastered we believe these old gals have stole most of your thunder!
Awesome setlist!
Thanks for uploading this gem
Wonderful concert. The three guitars play the sweetest music on "Tamborine Man" and then switch the mood completely for "Masters of War". It beats all the guitar heroes I've ever heard.
What stuff,unexpected U SA blue & Jazz
Follow the band in no time definitely, surely
The cowboy hat years were the best
He should had one on at Ft. Collins then.
Great sound indeed . thank you for the upload ; thank you Bob for all the years you bring your music to us . Last man standing !!

Mr. Gubitz, thank you very much for your amazing uploading.
You are brilliant ❤
Sugar Baby - so good!
Subterranean homesick blues... 2002 was the first time the song had been played in over a decade ... not played since 2002. Look how much fun Tony is having!
good set list and my favorite Dylan era
Great Concert
Thanks a lot,Keith
brilliant concert...........
Thanks so much for uploading this! I was there, but I'll admit I hardly remember the music. I remember enjoying it, but the dominant memory is travelling down to Brighton from Stoke-on-Trent on National Express on the same day (got there a couple of hours before the gig and wandered around aimlessly), hurrying back to the station after the gig, missing the bus and waiting at the station until the morning for the next bus. I remember it was a cold night... that's pretty much it. :-D
So, it's great to be able to listen to this from the comfort of my home... old man style!
my poor heart. don't think I'll make it until the end of this video. man that's GOOD !!!
Dylan lit it up this tour when I saw him the in States and delivered folk, rockabilly and storytelling madness, thanks for sharing. Greatest cat for the continuous tour since 87
Summer 2017, still on the road
thanks for the great uploads Keith
My first Dylan concert. I was about 19 at the time. Didn't have enough money for a ticket but was desperate to see my idol play. So I hungout behind the Brighton Centre at the back stage entrance in the hope of finding a way to get in. After a while I asked a big bearded chap if he could help. Initially thinking I was asking for money, I explained I just wanted to see Bob play and after looking me up and down ( I was dressed like Bob from the early 70s lol) he said come with me and proceeded to lead me through backstage and into the crowd. I thanked him and had the night of my life. I've been fortunate to see Bob live a bunch more times since but suffice to say this gig was special. Thanks to whoever uploaded.
Gaining entrance to a Dylan concert via the backdoor compliments of a roadie...high 5!
Oh, to be in England again. I was there once upon a time. 💕❤️💕
Oh mate england is not the same place as 20 years ago
No one has any money atall the country is full of people in debt depressed to high heaven coz its been pissing down day and night for months on end the streets are full of homeless but the hotels are full of illegal migrants staying in 4 star hotels where our people sleep in tents and there making that a criminal offence if i had any money or future id have been out of this corrupt shithole donkeys years ago beleive me

The true bluesman Bob Dylan
Caught him less than a month earlier in Copenhagen. April 8...it was transformative. 🙂
I've had too much of your companeeee
Said Tweedlie Dum to Tweedlie Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
MERCI KEITH POUR VOTRE JOB ET BOB DYLAN SUBLIME
I saw a guy 79 performing on American Idol playing a piano and singing from Scotland I believe. Sounded just as good as he ever did just looked older. I really like to see older people performing like that. I think he should have won on talent!
I hope this new technology and knowledge has extended the ageing process and a lot of us are headed down the road to the century mark!
wonderful footage!
I missed this show, just lived up the road. Was in US at the time. Saw him in Atlanta 3 weeks ago. Oh, I never came back.
Oh! I feel your pain too, but guess you don't have to feel bad, I don't mind hosting you for our next concert or have you visiting for one of our rehearsal session ❤
