I’ve always been amazed to the panoramic variety within so many wonderful partnerships, admittedly, all of us adore Dylan. Each lineup has character and talent. His work with Joan Baez was vital. The welcome work with Johnny Cash opened many doors for others. His finest work, by some people’s assessment, is with The Band. The inclusion of Tom Petty and The Hearkbreakers was endlessly full of energy. All of his lineups seem to fulfill his ever so interesting journeys within his songwriting and a few surprising covers at times. Each is unique for it is of the moment. We are so fortunate to have, “The Never Ending Tour.” Dylan has been really interestingly explored by Martin Scorsese too. As a group of fans, we are a really, really very fortunate collection of many people from all across the globe. Best Wishes, Peace ✌️, Great Health and a shared caring Love ❤️ for our friend, “ Zimmy.”
@@michaelkenna2024 Beautifully said! It can't be random that our bob community is as varied as the man's volumes of work. There is so much to explore, I still find exciting treasures in his work even after all these years of listening.
We had just moved from San Francisco to a country place in Cottonwood CA in 2001 about 20 miles north of Red Bluff. I was shocked and thrilled to learn Bob was going to play the fairgrounds and Rodeo there! We had a doctor's appointment scheduled late that day, the doc called to cancel it and I thought great, because I would have had to cancel it to make the show. We got to the show and the doctor was there also, ha ha! An unreal show in a barn like Rodeo arena. Bob and the band were on a low platform of an improvised stage and we stood on the dirt floor just a few feet in front of them. At the Like A Rolling Stone and Knockin on Heaven's Door encore performances we all ascended onto a higher plane of bliss, then transported beyond on All Along the Watchtower... After almost exactly 20 years I just discovered this recording, a lot of water under that bridge, we now live primarily in Baja California Sur and very happily so as Shasta county is now the Militia movement stronghold of Northern California. Bob, if you are reading this come down and play La Ventana sometime, there's a lot of groovy fans here for sure!
💖💜💖 Dear Bob Dylan and his Band the whole full concert is so beautiful i love this so much thank you very much for that. Thank you for sharing. Love greetings 💖💜💖🍀🐞🍀🌹🌺🌹🎶🎼🎶🎼🎶❤❤👏👏👏👏👏🙏🥰👍🥰🙏💚🌺💙💖💜💖💜💖💜💖💜💖💜
This show was a total blast. Even though you could still smell the cows in the venue. Totally loose, WAY off the beaten track, plenty of dancing space. Bob and band in great form, relaxed, in the groove.
Saw this leg in Philly in November. Bob has switched off guitar for the first time. Took a while to wrap my head around this. I always thought that's why Sexton soon left. He wanted to play guitar with Bob. It was a new dynamic. I didn't really dig the 3 covers he did. Same old Bob reaction. I wanted what he did in 2000 and 2001. I was dreaming. That's never happened. He's a good piano player. Maybe Charlie knew what was coming. All the videos with Sexton at Dylan's right hand are from 2002. He had always been far left. In 2002 he got within kissing distance. Bon chance, mon ami.
Very well could be, although to my ears and eyes, Charlie seemed the happiest and most incendiary while trading licks with Larry when given the go ahead by Bob. With Bob on piano they got a free pass to have at it and it seemed pretty jubilant on stage. Maybe with the new Larry Campbell documentary coming out, we'll learn more about those days
This show killed! My buddy Wes and I called this the "Bobby Zevon" tour. They played Brown Sugar and a fight broke out , leading to a bunch of "Altamont" jokes after the song. Thanks so much for this and Atlanta, and yes, this was his best line-up as far as Neverending went. With Charley & Larry you had the great musicianship WITH harmonies.
Just to think I heard a better than the last, this is a good period thank God it's a never ending tour we're all on. Take care everybody. Did y'all see him holdin that sign:"I'm doing fine y'all need a therapist"(smiling). It's rough out there folks, we gotta lighten up, pray& take a breath&. Love a minute.
Excellent show. I may have commented on this before. I always come back to it though. Had the same source on CD but not sure where it is or if I have it archived on a hard drive. Went to see him a year before at the Bill Graham CC in SF. Great show as well. Have never seen the show in circulation though. The year before was in Medford, and that was by far the best Bob show I have ever been to. I believe these three years were the pinnacle of his concert tours, and we were lucky to see him in such fine form. Thanks again for the upload!
Incredible show, thanks so much for sharing, STC. 5:05 Big Girl Now - wow. Shatters me. I listen all the time, grateful for neverending Bob music; flows like a river, heals my soul. Much Love, may God bless us all. Happy new year 2022. 💛🍃
@@StartToContinue Aw that has crossed my mind sometimes too but perhaps he has good reason not allowing too much guitar indulgence. But he must have had his own Bob reasons and in all fairness they are his band! LOL! Hey if it's not broke... :) Added note* I noticed when playing with the late Jerry Garcia, Bob was very liberal but listening to them together you can really understand why!
I think I underrated 02 a bit in my head (97-01 fan). Just listening to that "Highwater", which I haven't always loved live, and it's hitting. The "Me Babe" was a sweet one.

2002 was a great year for sure
This show was amazing. Small audience and Bob was just on point and interactive with the audience. Loved it. Glad it is here. Reliving a great time.

Great version of Brown Sugar.
Fantastic concert!
'Is that Robbie Robertson playing guitar or just a lookalike?' 😂 Definitely talking about Charlie...
A great tour and a fantastic recording too.
