Great stuff! i am shocked that the Bob internet police have not slammed down on you! I wonder has his group eased restrictions with the UMG publishing sale?
It's good to go unless it's officially released. For instance I had an outake from the Harrison recording session up for most of last year until they announced the Dylan 1970 CD coming out this month, then it got blocked. This live stuff, they collect all the ad revenue anyways so why wouldn't they want it out? Easy money for them and keeps interest in the artist
Was fortunate enough to be at all 3 shows. Small intimate hall. Easily one of the top shows from the NET. One show Neil Young and Springsteen sat at a private table for the entire show, that's respect.
Was at this show with my beloved late wife Susan. This was the middle of 3 nights. The 3rd night Springsteen and Neil Young showed up. I've seen Dylan dozens of times and this show is certainly near the top of the list! Thanks for posting!
Sorry for your loss, thankfully you have this fantastic memory of what had to have been an amazing night! Thanks for sharing. Look for the third night to be uploaded here TODAY!
Super clean and so nice to hear his voice. For those who don't like it, maybe they just can't hear it! Thanks for your hard work and dedication on behalf of us all! Much love and peace to all you love and even the ones you don't love. They need it too. Maybe people like you providing music will show them love! Thanks.
Love this! I have the Wonderland Records box set of these 2 nights. Number 36/500 limited edition. It also includes the DVD of his Woodstock show that year and the unplugged rehearsal.
@@kostaslivadas8945 Hi kostas, you might want to try a site called discogs. There are a lot of sellers on there. Although, in the last couple of years it has been more difficult for them to sell Dylan boots. But you might be able to make 'arrangements ' some way or another. Hope this helps you out!
Yeah, discogs will not allow sale of unofficial releases. There is a copy on ebay, but its pricey. Hang tight, the next night will be uploaded here this week!
Well I just can't do what I've done before.. l just can't beg you anymore. I'm going to let you pass. You say my kisses are not like his. This time I'm not going to tell you why that is. I'm just going to let you pass. A big highlight from Mister Big. And the boys he's collected. Fantastic show. Fantastic sound. Just for me. Hah. MAYBE IT'S JUST THE COLOR OF THE SUN-CUT GLASS.
One of the best things about these two finely recorded nights in NYC is how the electric songs, notably the Blood songs and Blonde songs, feature and follow that great "lead bass" of Tony Garnier. Up and down the ladder, especially evident in the arrangement of Big Girl. Only Dylan could be this unique. The songs. And then the repeatedly singular arrangements. WHO DOES THIS? And doing it during what was the 6-month long American leg of 1994. When the band left out "last early spring" on way to those three nights in Big Apple represent the stuffings of which music documentaries are made. The "finished product" became the Roseland stage. An ever evolving band on a changing journey. Trying to get as far away from my myself as I can. This guy Dylan never did anything for money except play music from high school to Key West. The only person I ever knew who also only ever had "one job" his whole life was the great Craig Donnelly, who picked horses as the best public handicapper of his time. Picking winners. Not faking it like Andy Beyer. Dylan and Donnelly. No fake. The real thing. No waiting on tables or delivering mail. Backed by guys like Doctor Ron and the mighty Quinn, who both went to the same seminary and medical schools. "The moral of the story.. the meaning of this song.. is that one should never be.. where one does not belong". I think this 1994 journey was the first time Bob achieved it. And not the last. "When you believe.. you will receive.. the only soul that you were born with. To grow old.. and never know. Richard Manuel write that. Danko sang it. "If I thought it would do any good.. I'd stand on the rock where Moses stood." May you live in interesting times. An old Chinese curse. A gift.. and curse. Let us recap. Back to front. Adrian Monk. Confucius. Danko. Manuel. Quinn. Doctor Ron. John Prine. Fake Beyer figures. Craig Donnelly. Tony Garnier. Bucky Baxter. John Jackson. Things Have Changed. Todd Haynes. The electric Blood songs. One job only. Roseland. BOB DYLAN. Now that's the real Murderer's Row.
oh I forgot to say that I was onyl 37 when I went to two of these shows,,,,,, I did go to two other shows in 1988 at Jones beach I was way up fa away now in my 2nd time I was 15 -20 feet from the man himself,,,,,,,,,, I saw a girlfriend who I knew 15 yrs before,, I was not sure it was her,, but I know we did not make eye contact again I was alone but she was not,,,,,,,,,,,,,,loooking back I would say this was a high point in my life,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,comparable only to a cover band that I followed in the Village at the Rock N Roll Cafe from 1988-1992 the two guitarists, which I just happened to stumble upon going out very often,, not knowing anything ,,, well they were great and I knew I Was experiencing the magic,,,,,, they both went on to incredible "careers"
I don't care what the musicians and experts say. Winston Watson was perfect for this "transition" Dylan made after the 3-man and 4-man and 2-drummer iterations. And he made that great documentary.

No it doesn't. You're confusing studio tricks with reality. Blood on The Tracks was "speeded up" by Dylan's brother in that second "mixing session" in Minnesota. A track you can "actually hear it being done" is the Jack of Hearts cut. Don't think even the most constant Dylan critics call him a board trickster.. a production artist.
They say I killed a man named Graves.. and took his wife to Italy. She inherited a million bucks.. and when she died.. it came to me. I CAN'T HELP IT IF I'M LUCKY..Or named Graves. Great name for Mission Impossible actor or right wing insurrectionist. For a music critic.. of Dylan's? Not so much.
What's been "sped up" and almost everyone who's an historian of it agrees. Dylan's drug of choice while cranking out Bringing It Back Home, Highway 61 and the double Blonde On Blonde.. was reportedly meth. Spent months in the home of his next door "doctor" neighbor in Woodstock before he ever slept one night in his own newly purchased house in Woodstock. So the story's told. Motorcycle.. the excuse. Meth.. the real reason. Just in time. EVEN THE RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN.. HE KNOWS MY FATE.. EVERYONE ELSE INCLUDING YOURSELF.. ARE JUST GONNA HAVE TO WAIT. We did.

The winter is blown away, the Jokerman Bob turns it into spring and speeds our heartbeat with great rock'n'roll

I saw him on this tour in Green Bay WI. He opened with this song. My parents were there, my high school buddies and I passed around a joint up front.
